The last few jars of Forest Spirit face mask sold this past week, and with the $140 just donated, that means we've collectively raised $644 CAD to Coast Salish Water Protectors and their allies so they may continue to #ProtectTheInlet for the sake of all beings, animal and plant alike. These donations support frontline resistance grounded in Coast Salish spirituality and culture, and offer legal support to those who've been penalized for resisting the Trans Mountain pipeline and tanker project crossing into unceded territories. . It began with the construction of a traditional Coast Salish Watch House — called Kwekwecnewtxw — built March of 2018 in the path of Kinder Morgan’s dangerous diluted bitumen pipeline and tanker project. Since then, tens of thousands have marched in support and more than 200 people have been arrested. The struggle continues both from the Watch House, and to support those who’ve been arrested/charged for protecting the natural environment and all the life it sustains. . This donation, plus the additional money raised by @thegranolagoat, is only a drop in the bucket in an ongoing movement started about a year ago to promote a more sustainable world. If you'd like to provide support directly, please visit @ProtectTheInlet and/or protecttheinlet.ca and give to Kwekwecnewtxw and/or the legal defence fund. . 💚 Artwork by: @christi_belcourt . #ProtectTheInlet #Kwekwecnewtxw #StopKM #NotMyPipeline #CoastSalish #NoPipelines #water #WaterIsLife #DecolonizeNow (at Salish Sea) https://www.instagram.com/just.the.goods/p/Bv-4zQyABhj/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1m07rd5pq8u8m
