Baby yautja plush prototype complete - update

I finally finished putting together all of the pieces of the baby yautja plush. There are some minor details I am not happy with, but that's just my perfectionism. Here is what the general shape of the baby (Celtic) yautja plush will look like. It will also come with a removable diaper that's held together by two buttons.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I will only be making a batch of three. The plush will be sold on my Ko-fi account (pined on my blog).

This prototype is not how the plushes will look like that are coming soon. They will look like the baby version of Celtic.

I sometimes like looking at prototype plushies or figures online along with defective ones and find some cool or interesting finds.

I'm kind of mad these plushies never went past the prototype stage.

I know sites like aliexpress and similar ones that sell bootleg merch sometimes have prototype plushies to figures or dolls molds that didn't make the cut or just stopped being produced.

I really want all of these if these released their price second hand would be cheaper.

The purple Mattel Popples Scrapped Spinoff Fuzzles plush is the one I really wanted and reminded me of the Baby Dingle youtube video like it could be one of the characters.

Found out what the Cd is but it looks like something you put in your game cube due to the size of the disk.

New plush prototype is all done!

This little guy has been on my to-do list for a while now, and I’m very happy with how he turned out. I’ll probably make the ones for the shop a little bigger than this, but if teacup-sized is more your fancy, I’ll be making a felt version, too.

If you’re more of a DIYer, the felt sized one will be the April project of the month for my ko-fi “makers” level subscribers!

Baby yautja plush prototype 2

The prototype is almost done! I would love to get feedback on what could be added, changed or fixed. Most of the body is pined together to make it easier for me to make changes. If no one has anything to add or fix, then I'll move onto finalizing the plush!

Baby yautja plush update

So, the only fabric store in my city had been moved to our only mall a while back. I have to wait just a couple of more weeks before I can start the production of the plushies. They will probably be ready to sell by the end of the summer or early fall depending on what happens in my personal life. Like I've mentioned before in my older posts about the plushies, I'm only making a batch of three to see how they sell.

I am hand-making these plushies, so they will take some time and will be pricey. You guys can start saving up now, cause the plushies will be around $50 to $60. I haven't settled on the price yet since materials are pending. As I've also mentioned before, I will be selling the plushies on my Ko-fi (ko-fi link on pined post). You can give me a follow on there to keep updated on when I release the plushies along with other stuff like adoptables and character bases.
