"Your hope cannot be put in some dreamed-up future. It must be in the God who know your past, present, and future, and loves you enough to give you the best" Jackie Kendall, Lady in Waiting Where do you put your hopes up? Sometimes, most of the time rather, we put it on our imagined future; we set our dream guy, our dream wedding, our dream home, how many children will we have, are they girls or boys or both, we fancied about the future date nights, where will you travel and have vacation. Everything, imagined, we desire it so much we held on to it as if it is something God owes us. And if all of these did not go accordingly and if it seems delayed in its timeline we start to question God if He really loves us and if He have really good plans for us. Frustrated, we cry out to Him but answers seems scarce. That is the perfect time you need to check your heart, where do you put your hopes up? In an imagined future that even when realized will fade away just like the rest of us? or in our eternal God who is everlasting ,loves you so much and promised to have great plans for you (jeremiah 29:11)? He knows what is best for you, and even if His answer is 'no' to all of your desires, He is still good and does that because He loves you so much and He wants only the best for you. Dear heart, where do you put your hopes up? To whom do you lay your trust? I hope it is in Him ❤ Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord ’s purpose that prevails.
