Made a proxy for the boot-lickin' Buggy card. Had a lot of fun! It's kind of nice to work that small.

Don card with the black-and-gold on top was generously given to me by my friend @misohmisoh (who also provided the thermal prints of the card effect and some sage advice while I made this!)

My FC leader (Rex) has us all contemplating our latest financial decisions. Cardboard should not be so expensive. Help. I fell asleep last night and dreamt about magic cards. I DON'T EVEN GO HERE OKAY?!

...He's going to make sure I know how to play this game in the next year. The worst part? I'm not entirely unwilling. Still... I made full art magic cards last night of some members from our RP group. What is happening to me?

Anyways. These are dope and I really wanted to share.

Blink, Siyoh, and Mihli are all my characters. Koret belongs to @gatheredfates Rex belongs to ...Rex. He doesn't do social media. ♥

Excluding Koret's cards, all screenshots were taken and edited by me (Koret's were taken by Sea). Templates for the cards were created from scratch by me using an assortment of tools.

My brother got back to Pokemon TCG and wanted to get rid of fake cards he got scammed with that made him quit. I volunteered to bastardize themーcreativelyーas a base to draw over silly imitations of cards I want instead.

i’d been working on a Fire Emblem edh deck using a basic custom card maker, but this is a lot more involved and fun so i’ll probably continue with it o/

I love playing Magic the Gathering and I hate WOTC so I support and actively trying to purchase proxies but like

I wish printing MTG card proxies wasn't so damn expensive. Like sure, it's way cheaper to print cards in bulk than to buy the specific cards (and better to give a print shop the money instead of Hasbro/WOTC) but still most places online I've seen are like $.75 USD if you buy +200 cards, which still equals out to a minimum of $150 that has to be spent.

And if you want one 60 card deck? That's gonna run your about $60 no matter where you go, a single commander deck would run about $90-110 depending on where you buy from.

And to think this is all before tariffs...
