We were all busy in the 2010s trying to make Slenderman the father figure of the Slendermansion when Tim probably could’ve done it better.

Father figure Slenderman is great, but riddle me dilf Tim and his horde of children that Slenderman just keeps bringing in.

Will there ever be another fully grown adult proxy? With Slenderman in charge, no way !

It’s just child after child, and Tim’s pissed about it, sure, but he’s also about to be the father who steps up. (No they are not allowed to call him Dad.)

It’s not like Slenderman is going to give a fuck if any of them get sick or injured or are generally going through it mentally, and someone has to. Tim never had that kind of support growing up and he knows how much of a difference it can make, so he steps up. Even if most of the residents/proxies are at least 18, as long as they’re under 25, they’re his ward as far as he’s concerned.

No he’s not perfect. He has his moments where he gets snippy or is maybe a bit harsh, but he cares. He never considered himself to be father material but he cares too much to let these kids suffer the way he had to. The way Brian had to. The way Jay and Alex had to.

It’s not perfect, but it’s better than nothing. And honestly? Tim learns just as much from the kids as they do from him.

We all treat the creepypastas like our own little dolls at this point, no one in the fandom can deny this fact.

But with Tim specifically I have danced too close to the sun.

I say this because, in my efforts to effectively translate a post-Marble Hornets Tim into a Slendermansion AU, I may or may not have ACCIDENTALLY centered on his worst traits as a character. His drive to survive no matter what, his determination to be normal, his efforts to protect those around him via half-truths and secrecy. Not any of it is indictive to any growth of him as a character.

BUT THAT'S THE THING ABOUT IT.

The way I see it, he did try to heal after Marble Hornets. He helped out Jess, he got rid of his mask, he skipped town, telling himself, lying to himself even, about everything being fine. But things are not fucking fine if he ends up working for Slenderman, and can you blame a man for acknowledging that??

He didn't really try to heal, all he did was take his meds and try to pretend that none of it ever happened! And he never got over it because of that! He's plagued by the guilt of it all! So of course he'd come running if he realized that Brian was alive! Of course he'd agree to work for Slenderman if it meant the Operator could never hurt him or his loved ones again! He didn't make a right turn at that intersection, he went left!

You can't sit here and tell yourself that you're protecting people if you won't even tell Brian what really happened between the two of you! You can't lie to yourself saying you're just trying to survive when you are actively doing everything in your power to maintain the status quo of proxy life just because it's the most stability you've ever had!! You're killing people, Timothy!! Lock in, Timothy!! You can't show up here with this vitriolic vengeance against the Operator and act like nothing ever happened to cause that! Stop vague posting, Timothy!!

You're not protecting anyone from ending up like Jay, or Alex, or Brian when you lie to everyone, you're digging yourself a grave! Foolish, foolish man, you've learned nothing!

And it's all my fault because I have committed the sin of Slendermansion found family AU.

Seeing as we can assume Tim was the boy who ran away (and was never found) in Rosswood, it seems only correct that we all collectively make an AU where Tim is the teenage proxy the fandom all wanted him to be in like 2016.

I am unironically very intrigued to think about how that would change him as a person.
