I have a headcannon that Sweden and Iceland are actually pretty close, even despite Sweden taking his older brother away from him when they were younger.

I agree with you on that, it’s been long enough that they've moved past that issue and I think that Sweden understands to an extent the way Ice reacts to social situations and what will and won’t make him feel comfortable. Like they are both shown to be more introverted so I feel like on some level they communicate well especially because among the Nordics Swe is a more level headed and calming influence who - unlike Nor - isn’t directly related in such a close way to Ice so he can let himself be helped by Swe a little more easily because it feels less like he needs to rely on his brother for things.

Also they both judge Den when he gets too energetic so they have that in common.
