Psalm 37:11 (NIV)
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way... He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. Heart Posture
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. -Psalm 34:7
Question of the day:
What are you taking delight in and is it satisfying your soul?
When we take a look at the word delight, it simply means to please someone greatly. As believers, we should yearn to please God above everything. We can have desires in our hearts but if we don’t delight ourselves in the…

Psalm 37:23-24 🥖 Dear Fellow Daily-Stumblers, I think we can all say - thank God for God. This has been a big week of stumbling for me. This psalm tells a metaphor of us walking down a path with God, committing our way to him, but the wicked and sin coming at us from every side to make us stumble. This psalm makes three big promises: 1. The wicked will be judged and destroyed. 2. God will protect us and and not let us fall. 3. We will inherit the land. We are not going to fall. And that’s not because we tried ‘hard enough’ to keep standing. Our part is to hope, delight, trust in the Lord, but it is God who keeps our stumbling from being falling. Never give up. Keeping loving God. The ‘land’ is heaven, and heaven is our home. We will finally be with God. This is all so unbelievably worth it. *Also, a side note on depression. It is so hard and I’m sorry if that’s you. Do DM me. We can really beat ourselves up when we open the Bible and we just can gain absolutely no comfort whatsoever. Faith is not a fuzzy feeling. I had a quote and I’ve lost it in my photos now, but I think about it often and it said something like this: “There is nothing that frustrates the devil more, than when a Christian looks out at the world, feeling nothing but despair and is unable to see God in anything - but chooses to obey God anyway.” That is faith. Opening your Bible when you don’t want to do anything anymore is faith. But even if you can’t, he will never let you fall.
Commit your way to the Lord. Trust in Him. Be still. Wait patiently for Him. Do not fret.
