“People are a little nuts for saying Ruby and Sapphire were negligent of Peridot for fusing during the baseball game, or that it shows their relationship is unhealthy because they can't operate without each other. Think of the plot. It wasn't serious. They tricked a bunch of gems into playing baseball, and even when they were found out, Steven just pointed to a random planet and they left. That's not serious, that's wonderfully cheesy filler, so we got to see two cheesy lovebirds, not negligence.”

When Peridot told the Rubies that she was the new leader of the Crystal Gems, I don't think it was out of arrogance or narcissism. She may have been attempting to sacrifice herself on their behalf. She wasn't aware of the Crystal Gems in the 1st place, and she has no idea that Home world thinks they're dead. That's why she mentioned their name to the rubies, and called herself leader, so that they'd take her instead of Garnet or Pearl.

I don't pay attention that much to Lapis, but all of this hate over her being moody around the Crystal Gems is ridiculous. She was extremely pissed off when she escaped, and she knew that they were aware of her being trapped and they did nothing. Her moodiness is her tolerating them, because in reality, I think there's an ocean (HA!) of resentment inside her. She probably wants to strangle them constantly.

I hate when people dislike Lapis for being a 'whiny emo bitch' and for being so rude to Peridot in Barn Mates. If I were trapped in isolation for over a thousand years on an unknown planet, only to return to my home and discover it's changed to the point it's unrecognizable (then FORCED back to the planet you were trapped on), I'd be pissed off too.

Theory: “ I think that Stevonnie does have a fused weapon. It's that giant disco ball that they found themselves in when they had a panic attack. We already know that weapons are summoned during a certain state of mind, so for them, it's during a panic attack. I'm not sure what the purpose of it serves though, and Kevin seemed to not notice it. Perhaps it cuts out the rest of the environment to give Stevonnie less stimulation so they can calm down/focus. People can see in, but they can't see out.” @psuede
“I agree with the theory that Pink Diamond is affiliated with emotion, but I don't think it's in a positive way. I think that she uses emotion for control through social pressure and fear. For example, hatred against different fusions, and oppression of individuality. I imagine that she's so powerful, that even the other diamonds feared her and deposed of her, hence why her symbol isn't around anymore. She might be the final villain, since even her mural has never been shown.”
