another productive day:)
I have my first presentation of the semester tomorrow, I'm stressed out but also... quite excited?
I guess I really love group projects hahah it's so weird for me that most people hate them.
The report I've been putting off that's nowhere near done and is worth 32% of my grade is due this Friday 🙃

What Being a Psychology Student Is Actually Like
Since publishing my How To Be a “Bad Ass” at University list, I’ve been meaning to write one for most common stereotypes that psychology students face! These lists are fun to make (they’re not to be taken too seriously Susans), so I hope you enjoy this!
1. Psychology students are amazing mind readers. Ask us what you’re currently thinking about and we will be able to tell you! Psychics are quaking.
2. Please unload your emotional problems to us because we are definitely qualified to handle them.
3. You can trust us with your secrets. Conversations you have with a fellow psychology student are strictly confidential.
4. Psychology students know answers to all of your problems. Better yet, we can diagnose you.
5. We will be able to prescribe medication once we graduate. Why? Because we study psychology, right?
6. Our answer to every single question is “it depends”.
7. We’re very empathetic.
8. We don’t have problems ourselves or the complete opposite, we’re too damaged ourselves.
9. If you maintain close friends we will provide you with free therapy one day.
10. Our major is useless and we don’t know what we want to do with our lives.
This was as fun to make as my College Truths list from a couple of years ago, so I hope you enjoy it! Please remember that this is just my personal opinion and a joke! Thank you!

Attention all PSYCH STUDENTS!
Both undergraduate & graduate. I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now, and I’m looking at building a Psychology network that branches across the different post-secondary schools out there.
For a lot of neurodivergent students, being in Psychology is something we are completely capable of, but sometimes we feel like there isn’t adequate space for us. I’m still working out the kinks but I am proposing a network for like minded students to help breakdown the years of ableism that plagues our field.
So, I’m throwing this out to the public. While I have a vision of the direction I’d like to go in, I would like folks opinions on what they would like to see on such a network.
Maybe a list of all the different certificates out there available to us and how to obtain them? How to survive a career in Psychology in the undergraduate, graduate & post graduate level? Access to class notes from students based on Campuses or access to notes in general? Peer review help on thesis building? Maybe composing accessible literature at the different schools we attend?
Right now I’m open to taking advice from anyone willing to dish it out HOWEVER I’m looking to keep this to Canadian schools as it would be nearly impossible to coordinate with any American schools, let alone schools in other countries as a Canadian student myself.

Tomorrow's the first exam and I feel that I'm not prepared at all. I learned a lot this week but when my classmates text about some of the possible questions in our groupchat-- 💀 well, I don't know the answer to any of them.
I'm really, really scared, cause it's very possible that I won't pass it. And I'm not in the city at the resit🙃. Soooo, well, I just hope a miracle will happen and I'll get at least those 51%...
