Know your ‘why’ -Psychological Tip for when you hit a Mental Roadblock!
Very often we begin something & when obstacles come our way it’s easy to give up. For eg: you start working out, eating healthy but after some heavy indulgence in junk food and/or skipping the gym or missing workouts in a row you want to leave it at that. At this point it’s important to take a step back and write down/consider ‘why’ you started out in the first place.
Same goes for ibaadah/acts of worship. When you struggle to pray, to read Qur’an etc, ask yourself ‘why’ and list down your answers like “prayer helps me recalibrate my day, reading the qur’an calms my soul more than anything’
Make it personal, dig deep & identify your whys. This will strengthen your motivational capabilites during your low days.
