I need advise on how to express a PTSD character. 60 years after Abend der Grausamkeit and he still cringes, cries and sometimes locks up. He is a vampire, so he wasn't only cutting and slashing the enemy. Adrenaline + blood = blood rage. The Hafling handles the memories better. He didn't get as involved in the battle. The Vampire is middle aged and the Hafling is well aged. Thank you for your time.
Thanks for the ask! Sorry, it took so long for me to answer.
I want to preface that I don’t have PTSD and only have very limited experience with it. I have a few friends that deal with it, and from what each of them tells me, it seems to vary person to person. So please please please correct me if any information is wrong in this post. I would strongly recommend talking to someone who has PTSD to accurately portray your characters.
Here are some resources that may help:

I hope some of those resources help.

Stop Brittany,
Would you fucking stop.
Can you get PTSD from being in a bad relationship for a little over 2 years?
PTSD related Problem/Question #101: Who else struggles with trusting that your therapist/psych believes you, with a paranoia that each person you have tried (including this one) has been humoring you by listening? Why is this? And have you had a single traumatic event or several?
