Oh hey, while we're talking about Zukka moments in the new Avatar the Last Airbender movie:
Little one here in the ending credits lol.
Overall impression: It was... Okay. I mean, it didn't blow my socks off. It was nothing to write home about, especially compared to the original series and Legend of Korra. It was pretty fun though, and had a lot of callbacks to the show that I enjoyed. It wasn't completely terrible, which is what I was kinda worried about with a movie like 10 years later like this. The plot was a little bit discordant with some things that happen later in LoK, and seemed a little forced in some places.
Execution was fine for an hour and a half runtime though. Other than a couple of little bits, don't watch it for big lore drops. Honestly most of the stuff here I would consider sort of... Adjacent to canon. It's fun, but it makes things weird. Definitely enjoyed the Zukka crumbs though.
