A few weirdly excitedly knocks sounded throughout the apartment Wilde had recently moved into. That was normal though, people often walked into the building intoxicated and knocked on random doors before bolting off(if you were lucky, which is not at all common in Gotham.)
A few moments passed, three more intentional and paced knocks sounded, at the door.
âUhm⌠Hi! Itâs Julius?â came a familiar voice that was muffled by the barrier between Wilde and the newcomer. âI brought gifts? I heard that thatâs a common thing to do in cities outside of Gotham! So I thought to bring you some?â he sounded weird and nervous yet well-meaning.
Definitely the Julius Finch guy.
âHello? I can leave it at the door maybe? If thatâs what you want?â

Julius. Wilde almost forgot about him. which was⌠mean, probably. he wasnât expecting visitorsâ usually, visitors mean nothing goodâ but Julius seems nice, and he wouldnât mind company right now.
so he stands. limps over to the door, swings it open as Julius is looking nervously over his shoulder. he realizes belatedly heâs not wearing his mask, and Julius can see his creepy gorey mess of a face, but he doesnât care much. nobody here knows who he is.
âhi,â he says kindly, even as it makes Julius jump. âiâm sorry, i wasnât expecting you. do you want to come in?â
thatâs probably the nice thing to do. and he needs friends. Julius, even with his creepy smile and erratic movements, doesnât seem like the worst choice.
