i had the honor of drawing jellymon for this years @digigirlzine ! this is such an amazing and HUGE project containing art by so many incredible artists! please go give it a download (it’s free!) and check it out!!
The digimon artist's discord that I'm in did another "secret santa" gift exchange, this one for Valentine's day. This one I did for @lawuchisw 's character and Jellymon having a hug ✨
Digimon Evolution Lines 70/∞
Refuge Mist! A new completed evolution line was introduced for Sangomon in the Digimon Liberator novel! Sangomon (Data-attribute) and its evolutions are featured in the novel as partner Digimon to Yao Qinglan.
Stages: LV1: Puyomon LV2: Puyoyomon LV3: Sangomon LV4: Shellmon LV5: MarinBullmon LV6: Ryugumon
Artwork by Bandai from the Digimon Reference Book.
My evolution lines for the Digimon of TACTICS team 7 (and Naito)
Ludomon/Ldmon’s line is self explanatory, it’s the one it’s had for years. Likewise, Monodramon’s is the one that’s established so far with a “???” to emphasize that I’d like him to get an all new Ultimate/Mega.
Shakomon’s uses Jellymon and Sangomon’s shared Baby forms because I think they just work for mollusks. The rest of the line keeps the emphasis on Ancient creatures, and also because I’d really like to see a story where Anomalocarimon gets to be a cool and bad ass Digimon instead of a joke for a change. That, and…well, I really want a Perfect that’s anything other than Sharkmon, due to the common fandom misconception that Tylomon is a shark (it’s not, it’s a Mosasaur). Plesiomon completes the line as a final prehistoric creature, and also makes every evolution above Child-level a completely different kind of animal lmao.
Punimon and Gigasmon were already decided for me, and so Tsunomon was a no brainer for the second Baby form. Goblimon has at least one rock-based attack so he works for the Child/Rookie form, and from there Grottemon makes a good transition to Gigasmon. I chose Blastmon as an Ultimate/Mega because it remains a Mineral type like Gigasmon, and keeps the brutish theme of the rest of the evolution line.
Only 5 left and I'm done with all the Baby I level Digimon I set out to do!
Algomon was a pain, I have regrets...
