People often ask me about Acrylic Alchemy and what it represents or if it's just a gimmick. The principal tenet of Acrylic Alchemy is sacrifice of equivalent exchange. It's about utilizing your struggle as a sacrifice to create beauty from the darkness in your life. It's about turning a negative into a positive. A lot of people talk about putting blood, sweat, and tears into their work. For my first "Puzzled Hearts" piece, I physically mixed blood, sweat, and tears into the paint. Without those sacrifices, the painting wouldn't be what it is today. It wouldn't mean what it means and it wouldn't feel how it feels. It's raw. It's real. It's honest. That is Acrylic Alchemy.
