Just a reminder that Ching-Li Hsiao, a former victim of washuu lineage and a part of garden children has found herself a family and now leading a happy life with them. Belss the Q's, papa Urie, papa Mutsu, mama Saiko, no good Hige (lol) and quiet Aura. She's happy now, no need to worry
Tokyo Ghoul:re chapter 154 should have been titled “Hsiao I love you”
IS ARIMA SMILING he remembers Urie without a mouth and Saiko as an airhead OH my god 😂😂😂
Who's your favourite Quinx?
Instead of just declaring who my favourite is, I’ll list my top 7 Q’s instead:
Urie - By far the best written and most developed character among the seven in my opinion. His journey from being the most unlikable of the Q’s to the most developed has been well executed, and sometimes I even consider changing my blog name to Uriemahboi.
Shirazu - Everyone’s favourite dead character. Shirazu’s character remains memorable now despite only being in the story for around 50 chapters. I also thought his death was one of if not the best executed death to be written in the story.
Mutsuki - Ah Mutsuki the problem child. I actually enjoy the unique aspects of Mutsuki’s character a lot despite being annoyed by her behaviour over the last few dozen chapters. Sadly I thought her change of heart was far too easy and unnatural considering she’s one of the most mentally unstable characters in the series.
Saiko - I enjoy Saiko’s character on a surface level compared to the other three, though unfortunately she always falls short in comparison to the rest of the original Q’s, lacking in essentially every aspect. However I am still hoping that she gets some long overdue character development.
Hsiao - Hsiao is easily the most likable among the second gen Q’s, though not having nearly as much characterization as the top 3, her place still stands strongly. I also find her being a parody of a fanservice character as quite entertaining.
Hige - I used to never give any fucks about Hige in the past because this dude’s character is bland as hell, even Hirako has more personality than him. However if anything I respect that Hige has managed to stay relevant up until now while narrowly escaping death.
Shinsanpei - This dude sucks, he’s currently the character I dislike the most throughout the entire Tokyo Ghoul series. If he dies at some point I would only feel immensely satisfied.
Whoa wtf I had a dream of reading a future Tokyo Ghoul:re chapter and I remember reading panels of Saiko framing out and going kakuja, it looked cool as fuck
Hopefully I’m psychic and something similar happens soon because these recent chapters have been boring me to death
