hi, this is about to be a lot of words, so bare with me. i have redeemed many a song in sherbs chat and every single time, i have given them a starset song cause i have a problem. it has occurred to me that i have not fully explained my thoughts on all of these songs, and have decided that this is something that i should do. so here we go:

ICARUS this one is fairly self explanatory, as it is in the name, but this is very icarus coded. but i feel the need to talk about the best lyric in this cause fucking hell, it is so coded "The replica of a runner-up; You were made for skies, but you called your bluff; Now you'll never be good enough" me when they are literally the carbon copy of fable, who failed, and just how failure coded the entire song is. i just needed to call attention to it (also shout out to this song for getting me to look into more of the starset discography as i was looking up other songs called icarus, thus leading me to have my fav band)

Waiting on the Sky to Change this song is fairly obvious as well, and it is already on the official ajax playlist. but this is ajax. in fact, it is so season 10 eod ajax, it is on the damn nose. all the lines about running into tornados WHICH AJAX LITERALLY DOES. i dont think i need to keep going, but yeah. i love ajax yall

Let it Die this is the song that i infamously used to break sherb, which is also funny to me cause they had a different coding than i did, so imma talk about both of them. this song did also make it onto an official sherb playlist for icarus. sherbs interpretation was prison duo, cause it is. refusing to believe the other is gone and doing anything you can to get them back when they wouldn't want you to, its so late season 3 prison duo. my interpretation was very fable about isla, mainly for the first verse, cause it starts with talking about breaking someone when trying to fix them, which is Exactly what fable did to isla when taking her memories, and then not knowing how to fix what they broke, cause yeah. it makes me think of them so much but hey, like father like son on this one i guess

Monster this is so season 2 prison duo to me. very toxic and makes many mentions to being caged, its just so them. plus i really like the lines about the world you created, cause centross cause the season 1 reset, therefore being responsible for the season 2 world, i just think it is so tasty

Halo this song is funny to me, cause it only became more coded after i gave it to sherb. this is ashril coded to me, specifically lovebirds coded. for one, the song starts with lines about running away from something coming after you, which is so perfect for ash running from castral, but then the song goes on to talk about someone being there to be with you, which is so marcel and ash. AND THEN IT GOT SO MUCH MORE CODED AND SAD WHEN MARCEL DIED WHILE THE SONG IS LITERALLY CALLED HALO! i just, i cry and i love it

THE BREACH this song is so coded to the queue, cause it is just about going through a portal and then chaos follows, which is the queue. no lies, i really want this song to become a queue animatic, but i cant draw and it hurts me.

Starlight this song is so icarus in the worldport, wanting to get home to their loved ones, but what is fun about this one, is that i redeemed it before icarus came home, and how it is much more coded, as icarus and rae went through some shit to get them home and i care about them. i really like all the lines about how far away they are, but that they know they will manage to get back to each other

DARK THINGS this song was so fun, cause this was from when we got the asri playlist and nothing else and sage and i started to go feral with trying to figure out what he was about and were trying to code songs to him, and i thought this one seemed like the right vibe. and when i redeemed it, sherb said it was coded in a way they couldn't say, and that is how I SOMEHOW PREDICTED THE ISRA ARC BEFORE WE EVER MET ASRI /silly. but yeah, me when this song is all about becoming something else, and the line about there being a demon inside, it is so tasty

TRIALS this song is fighting boys, through and through. it is so being in the pit on hypixal, that when i go into the pit on hypixal, this is my go to song to listen to (and is on my hypixal blobo's playlist). but yeah, this song is so never ending fighting coded, so reo and ajax and caine, but mainly reo for sureee

Unbecoming this song is so very ripley coded, cause it is all about the ocean and the monsters below, plus talking abut the ocean will be their unbecoming, when ripley literally drowned, i care. plus there is the part about finding someone who you think is a good person, but they turn out to not be, with that being Jefferson, i just have such thoughts

It Has Begun this song is so mythos and magic coded, specifically episodes 3 and 4, cause it literally talks about a maze, the line about the lost being heroes, it is just so good and is so them in the labyrinth, once again, i want this to be an animatic and im upset that i cant draw

Bringing It Down this song is helix coded to me, but now it can also be asri, cause it is all about something else being inside of someone that is going to lead to everyone else getting hurt, so either the worm in bound or the parasite in among us, i just like it a lot

DIE FOR YOU this song is so similar to let it die in my mind, except this is the prison duo part where it is more from centross's perspective, since he literally does die for icarus, though it does have parts from icarus's perspective as well, where they talk about having to be alone and him not being there, i just care about it

Carnivore this song is also so helix and asri coded to me, and even made it onto an official sherb playlist for asri. but yeah, another song about something inside that not supposed to be there that is gonna get people killed, so isra or the parasite. plus with how much this song is about manipulation, it was just too perfect

and that is all the current songs on my "Songs I've Shoved at Sherb" playlist (yes that is a real playlist i have) and why i requested all of them. also there are still more in my list to show sherb, so this list is far from complete, but it all just depends on when i get more song redeems, but mark my words, there will be more starset.
