Doll-of-the-Day project day 24: this little one is an Eryn, sculpted by @quadrigadolls. I was so excited to be able to order this baby! She has wings, too, but I’ve put them away for safekeeping. Without the wings, she seems more cat-like, and she’s easier to carry around with me.

I'm excited. I bought a little Eryn dragon from @quadrigadolls that will be arriving soon.

I've been looking at the picture while I await delivery, and it suddenly reminded me of a dragon toy I loved as a little girl.

Behold, the Fisher Price castle dragon.

So now I'm thinking of customizing my new resin baby, once the weather stops trying to kill us. A few yellow dots on the upper legs and a bit of teal on the horns, tail, and along the wings.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy my new friend as is. :)

Plants for the Diorama, and some off-box-shots of it :) it gets better and better ♥

Highly looking forward to the three little fishes that will move into it in the future and add even more charme to it.

For the background I want to print one of my own photos, these are potential candidates for it:

I checked usual Aquarium background as I got the plants but i highly disliked them, they looked so boring.

My little gold Eryn from @quadrigadolls is finally home!!! She’s so dainty and yet the chubbiest little cutie. I’m in love with her little paws and delicate wings and wee magnetic horns and her sweet little face. It’s so easy to put her into fun poses (she even does a great corgi sploot imitation); I can’t wait to see what adventures and shenanigans she’ll get up to. It’s going to take a lot of self-control not to take her absolutely everywhere with me!

Her name is Wirenth and I am absolutely smitten. She’s perfect.

Also, I cannot say enough good things about quadrigadolls’ service and communication. She kept me updated at every stage, and when there was a SNAFU with the original eyes I ordered, she replaced them, sent along a second pair, and gave me a coupon for a faceup if I eventually want one. A+ customer service, would definitely recommend.

Box in box! The wooden trunk was a nice surprise, and will make a great way to store this little dragon. (Also I’m inordinately tickled that it matches her color!)

Inside is the CoA, spare eyes, and the dragon wrapped in a cushy blanket.

Ahh... there she is.

It took me a second to figure out why the wings didn’t seem to go in place, but then I realized there’s two back pieces - one with wings, and one without. They swap out easily thanks to magnets and stay firmly in place.

Hey there everyone!

After UKBJDCon I have a very few dragons left! I've put them all into my kofi shop (-> https://ko-fi.com/quadrigadolls/shop <-) and got each just once, so if you want one, grab em quick!

There will be one last preorder for Eryns this June, again with the option to pick your own color, but I won't do another one for a long while after that.
