my great and terrible secret is that i have a hole in the part of my brain that remembers what different pride flags look like when i'm not looking directly at them
#moogletalks#queertag#i can *usually* remember which individual colors are associated with a flag i see often as long as there's not too many stripes#but i cannot for the life of me remember actual flag layouts in 99% of cases without checking#i can just about consistently remember the order of the bi flag is pink-purple-blue; and even then i Was Not Sure and had to check#(this is not in any way a diss on pride flags it's just very funny to me that my memory is such a sieve for this very specific thing)#(i wouldn't be surprised if it's an extension of the fact that my brain is terrible at processing colors tbh)#(i don't think i'm actually colorblind in the traditional sense; at least according to any of the existing colorblindness tests i've found)#(but i misparse colors CONSTANTLY and i think i am just bad at them)
