Hypothetically, if you got into a fight would you use a Toothbat or a Long furby?

BIG AUTISTIC MOOD
It finally happened.
I have been reading questionable content the webcomic for some time and they finally made Bubbles and Faye happen. I needed this gay love to happen. Thank you universe.
I had a serious webcomic addiction in college that I have mostly under control now, but I still check on a couple here and there... and any plotline at QC involving Bubbles is primo. #android #adorable #bigmuscularladiesaremyjam #questionablecontent #webcomic #questionablecontentfanart #sketch #notabird #birdsarecomingthough
I would just like to point out that in QC 3004 Bubbles' stated top speed is 30km/h (aka about 18.6 mph). The latest strip (3469) implies that her top speed is now 60 mph. So, in conclusion, Bubbles has recently acquired and installed heeleys with rockets on them and I fully expect @jephjacques to take advantage of this fact and show us Bubbles using her new rocket shoes.
I feel the comic is making an assumption where Marten and Claire’s relationship is so strong, so fundamental to Marten’s life specifically, that he doesn’t even “hesitate” at the question of throwing away everyone and everything he knows to be with her, that the comic has not - and I spent a couple of weeks rereading it to be sure about this - given us a good reason to believe.
It’s a fine relationship, sure. It might be perfect. But we’re asked to believe Marten thinks it’s SO MUCH MORE important to him than his relationships with Faye AND Dora AND Tai AND Steve AND Pintsize AND Bubbles AND his mom AND Sam AND Aurelia AND Hannelore AND maybe 10-20 more people who he generally doesn’t know well but who are still present in his life. People who to some degree depend on him, as he depends on them. But where I would probably hesitate to lose any one of the top 6-8 of these friends in order to keep my girlfriend (maybe two or three of them if it was the most singularly, extraordinarily important relationship I could ever imagine having), Marten doesn’t have to THINK about losing all of them. And we’re not given any reasons why Claire is an especially important person in his life.
I’ve been waiting months for today’s strip, where Marten finds out how Faye feels about being left by the most important man in her life once more. Maybe this is where the doubt starts. Maybe he’s going to think, Faye and I have been through some fucking real shit together, even if it was just me listening to her reliving her worst memories that alone is by far the realest shit I’ve ever been through, maybe that and our decades of friendship has built the foundation of something precious that’s probably not afforded to a whole lot of people and not something I’m ever likely going to get close to having with anyone if I move to a new city and make new friends.
Sure, it probably has to happen. Introducing new characters is Jaques’s method, and there’s obviously a human limit to how many character relationships you can write about in one comic and QC is probably way past that limit, so it makes sense to steer the story to a whole new setting. I’m not unexcited about that either, even if there are a few dozen characters I’d like to see more of.
But just have the guy feel a little ambivalent about entering a long distance relationship with 95% of his friends and family.
Questionable Content began in 2003 as a simple view of the everyday lives of a small group of friends. It mostly consisted of “edgy” talks about indie music and snippets of their daily lives. However, over the years it has grown considerably to encompass a huge cast of characters with varying backgrounds. It is easy to see how much the artist has grown over the years, and how much they have added to the characterization to fully flesh out a believably diverse cast. The artist has spoken out in interviews about wanting everything to be as authentic and true-to-life as possible, and that he plans on adding more characters to further improve upon the changes in the near future. His inclusion of such diversity has opened the doors to conversations related to the activism that we face today, and indeed some of the current plots revolve around the characters becoming more involved in activism to better people’s lives. https://www.questionablecontent.net/
