The soul wasn’t built to metabolize atrocity daily

I see no difference between the crowd that villainizes every Israeli/jew and the crowd that villainizes every Palestinian/muslim
Yall are the exact same human garbage that can't see outside your shitty narrow worldview, go fuck yourselves
Health classes really ought to teach people what the beginning stages of addiction are like because a lot of people don’t realize they’re addicted to something until they’re years deep into it.
Signs you might be getting addicted to something:
If you go without it you feel unwell in a way that you never usually feel unwell. Sweating, tired, sleepy, headaches, irritable, depressed, etc. For example when I was in opium withdrawal I got incredibly depressed in a way that I’ve never been before or since. When you quit caffeine you might get super bad headaches even if you never usually get any headaches.
Thoughts of it regularly bother you and the thoughts go away once you’ve taken it but only temporarily. Unlike with a food craving which usually stays away once you’ve satisfied it or distracted yourself from it.
You find yourself rationalizing with yourself why you should break your own rules about how much you can take and how often. For example you might only let yourself drink alcohol every four days but start thinking that three days is actually close enough to four days, right? Especially if this happens regularly.
You’re using it so often that you feel the need to lie about how much you use because other people might think it’s concerning
If the substance or activity is nearby it’s genuinely difficult to not consume it or participate in it in a way that’s really frustrating.
You feel bad when you’re not on it and your brain tells you “if you just take the thing you wouldn’t feel this way”
You can only feel “whole” or “normal” when you’re on a substance even though it’s a recreational drug
And if you read this and think you might be addicted to something, don’t panic and don’t feel ashamed. Realizing you’re addicted to something isn’t a failure. It’s more information about your health that you can use to manage your condition, whether you want to get rid of your addiction or not.
Are shitlibs seriously saying that palestinians were begging anyone to vote for harris? THEY'RE DYING. They don't give a shit about your stupid fucking elections. The world doesn't revolve around your pathetic seeting about the mean nazi orange. Palestinians have much worse shit to worry about.
Tell me you've never talked to a Palestinian in your entire life without telling me. Just. Wow. Imagine claiming to speak for Palestinian people and not taking the time to even do a 5 second google. I'm going to be really honest here. Your behavior disgusts me.
Palestinians are human beings. Do you get that?! They're not your props. Or your toys. They aren't a fashion accessory to make you look cool. Or a weapon you can wield in a hateful campaign against Israelis and Jews. Or a shield so you can feel better about having enabled a violent racist Fascist pedophile to be elected President of the most powerful country on earth. They are real, living, breathing human beings with thoughts and feelings and opinions.
The United States is very important and powerful. And elections in the US matter, not just for Americans but for people all over the world. The election mattered for the immigrant children in the US now being rounded up into prison facilities by ICE. They mattered to the trans people across the United States whose very existence is now being criminalized. They mattered for the millions of children across Africa sentenced to death by Trump's USAID cuts. AND THEY MATTERED TO PALESTINIANS.
Palestinian people were literally begging for anyone other than Trump. So much that even Al Jazeera, the fucking PROPAGANDA PUBLICATION OF THE CORRUPT QATAR DICTATORSHIP (the same dictatorship that bribed Trump by gifting him a whole plane) that usually spends all its time denying the Holocaust, supporting Hamas, spreading lies about Israel, and justifying the atrocities of the Qatari regime (including slavery) had to acknowledge it. Palestinians were screaming "please not Trump" so fucking loudly that even the PRO SLAVERY TERRORIST SUPPORTING PROPAGANDA NEWS REPORTED ON IT.
(It was also reported in other press too)
Many in Ramallah argue things cannot get any worse but some say US result could add unpredictability to despair
But sure. They're "too busy dying". WTF does that even mean? You think people who are in danger just sit around waiting to die for your gross fetishistic aesthetic and don't have opinions about what might make their situation better or worse?
The truth is, it's the opposite. People in danger can't afford not to care. Privileged, ignorant Westerners like you are the ones who can afford not to care. Who can say appalling things like "this election didn't matter" (while tens of thousands in Iran bleed and die just for the hope of one day having the privilege of voting) and "both Parties are the same."
The election mattered. Both Parties were not the same.
Stop fetishizing the suffering of Palestinian people and speaking over them and treating them as a trend or a means to feed your hatred of liberalism and democracy. You want to see freedom burn. You want to see Jews, Israelis, and Palestinians suffer. You aren't an activist. You are an ignorant privileged bigot.
If any part of you truly cares about Palestinian people you can start by being quiet for give minutes, learning to listen, learning to embrace nuance, and then channeling your energy into seeing who you can help, not who you can get away with hurting.
Here are some actual Palestinians you can listen to.
And some other helpful videos for additional context on the region and conflict:
And a really great Palestinian advocacy org to check out:

autism tests are so funny. I'm extremely literal most of the time, but people don't tell me that generally, so I'm inclined to answer disagree. because I'm taking the statement too literally
^not my post but same sentiment
i’m taking away most of the world’s right to talk about jews. i silence u all. shut THEE fuck up.
If your country 1) participated in the Evian Conference and are not the Dominican Republic or 2) the population of Jews in your country in 2026 is lower than it was in 1945 then I simply do not want to hear your opinions about Jews, sorry
this administration has been giving free reign and no consequences to settlers terrorizing the West Bank and the extremist settlers know it. The attacks are increasing in violence, boldness, and brutality because they know they will experience absolutely no consequences. Fuck Bibi and his entire coalition and gd I am praying this next election dislodges him from power permanently.
if you’re autistic and have a hyperfixation on social justice and human rights, it doesn’t mean you’re right. it doesn’t automatically make you ethical or that you have all the information you need. it doesn’t make you an educator and it doesn’t make you educated. did your deep dive present you with well researched and varied points of view? or did it feed your confirmation bias?
you’re autistic. that doesn’t mean you’re immune to propaganda. it doesn’t mean you automatically have better information literacy. it just means you’re autistic.
fascinating to see this break containment and get reblogged by people with the hammer and sickle in their bio.
if u want u can help preserve the memory of a shtetl (european towns with large jewish populations that were almost all destroyed in the holocaust) by donating to fund the translations of yizkor books
Blaming Netanyahu for antisemitism is like blaming Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthi, ISIS, that new group which popped up in Europe recently, etc for Islamophobia.
Sure, there is the argument that without any of those people and groups doing what they have done, antisemitism and Islamophobia respectively, would not be at the level it occurs. The same argument can be made that women who dress promiscuous are inviting men to sexually harass or assault them becuase if they just covered up, men would be able to help themselves and not harass them.
However, that level of thinking doesn't work. Antisemites and islamophobes would still find a way to be bigoted. Just like how even women who wear burqa still experience harassment and assault, despite being fully covered.
With all three things, people force permission from actions. Men force permission to sexually harass women by claiming its how they dress and not something that they personally have control over. Islamophobes do the same by acting as if the relatively few muslim terrorists represent all muslims. And antisemites do the same by acting as if the israeli government represents all jews.
With all 3 of these scenarios, it all boils down to individual responsibility. Whilst you can't exactly control every thought you have and thought crimes aren't real, it is your responsibility to go "hey, I didn't like that thought. Maybe I should cool it with consuming content that is making me think that way for a bit."
It is also individual responsibility to take action on a thought that you have. You don't have to do something just because you thought about it.
No one is making you be bigoted. It is a choice. Stop making that choice.
it is not obvious if you hate jews
it’s really funny when people go “zionists dni” and then come and harass us? like i get that being a hypocrite is second nature to them but maybe work on that?
The letter, organized by the London Initiative, was directed to Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
Over 1,000 Diaspora Jews are petitioning Israeli President Isaac Herzog to intervene against settler violence in the West Bank, saying that the settlers are threatening Israeli security.
“Mr. President, the terror, death and destruction inflicted by Jewish-Israeli extremists against innocent Palestinians across the West Bank is an abomination,” says an open letter published Thursday. “It is not only morally shameful but a strategic threat to the future of Israel. It damages world Jewry and the relationship of future generations with Israel.”
The letter continues, “Sadly, based on events and on the statements of the most extreme coalition partners it can be concluded that the violence now engulfing the West Bank is not only condoned by the government but is in fact policy.”
The letter was organized by the The London Initiative, a liberal Zionist network founded earlier last year to “strengthen Israeli democracy, advance a fairer shared future for all citizens of Israel, revive hope in the prospects of achieving secure peace, and improve relations between all Israelis and world Jewry.” The number of signatories is growing as the letter circulates.
It comes as violence against Palestinians in the West Bank — often unpunished by Israeli authorities — has reached new heights, with settlers allegedly killing seven Palestinians in the last month, including one on Thursday, and driving others from their homes.
The situation has grown so extreme that the Israeli army this week took the unprecedented step of diverting soldiers from Lebanon, where Israel is battling Hezbollah, to the West Bank. Both the chief of staff of the Israeli Defense Forces and the Central Command chief have warned in recent days that conditions in the West Bank are contributing to a dire manpower shortage in the army.
The issue has also ignited concern from the United States, and from Israel’s U.S. ambassador, Rabbi Yechiel Leiter, who told Ynet that he believed the situation was deterring some in Washington from supporting Israel. He called on the rabbis of the West Bank to constrain their disciples.
“I’m so angry about the issue of Jewish riots in Judea and Samaria,” Leiter said. “It’s a handful of a few hundred people who are staining an entire enterprise — and everyone is silent.”
The new letter signed by Diaspora Jews calls on Herzog to advocate for change with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his far-right ministers who have not interceded to stop the violence. The signatories include prominent philanthropists including Charles Bronfman; liberal rabbis from multiple countries; and former British and Canadian ambassadors to Israel.
“Mr. President, Pesach is upon us. As we have for millennia, Jews everywhere will reflect on the promise of freedom and responsibilities of power,” the letter says. “We call on you to use your position to implore the government to put an end to the abomination of Jewish-extremist terror and the era of impunity for its perpetrators.”
(Will never not reblog this beauty. What genius.)
