Questioning : individuals who are exploring, learning, or experimenting with their sexual or romantic orientation, or gender identity. The letter "Q" in the LGBTQIA+ acronym can sometimes stand for both "Queer" and "Questioning".
[ID: Digital art of a flying robot holding the questioning flag and saying, "Be gay do crime". The questioning flag has four stripes of orange, yellow, green, and dark blue, with a white question mark over them. End ID.]
Happy Pride to all those out there who are unsure of their identities, who are wondering of who they are. You are welcome, you are loved.
The gender questioning flag picked from this one frame of Zuko!!

Questioning people hate Autism Speaks!
[Image Description: Two images set to the background of a flag with three stripes; the upper and lower stripes are both light red, the middle stripe is a darker red. The first image is of the four striped Questioning Pride flag. The stripes in descending order are orange, yellow, green and blue and they go down horizontally. In the middle there is a a white question mark symbol. The second image has the Autism Speaks logo crossed out with a ‘no’ sign. Another image at the bottom reads “TERFs, exclusionists, transmeds, and queerphobes, DO NOT INTERACT! You’re out of touch and we hate you almost as much as Autism Speaks”. End Description.]
Questioning Flag
I’m not sure if others feel the need for a “Questioning Flag,” but I kind of felt the need for something when I was walking around my local Pride festival.
Through various life events, I’ve come to realize I’ve sort of denied myself the opportunity to explore my sexuality. (Biphobia turned me off to exploring bisexuality when I was a teenager/young adult; abusive ex left me with PTSD, which may affect my sexuality, right now.)
Soooo, here’s my take on a Questioning Pride Flag.
Magenta - Since a lot of Sexuality/Romantic Pride flags have pink or purple of some sort to signify sexuality, I went with magenta. Felt it was a nice way to connect it to other allosexual sexuality prides.
White - For all the possibilities.
Teal - Since I’ve never seen teal used in Sexuality/Romantic Pride flags, I thought it was a nice way to differentiate Questioning. (Maybe it has been, but I just haven’t seen it.)
Flanked by black for the possibility of being aromantic or asexual. (Also, for me personally, symbolic of the fact I shoved my feelings away into the metaphorical dark for a very long time, but they were still there no matter what. Not sure if that makes sense.)
Side note for the colors: teal is between blue and green; magenta is between purple and pink. I felt those were pretty good colors to choose, since being Questioning is sort of like being in limbo, trying to figure out where you are.
PS: Anyone can use this, btw. Forgot to mention that when I originally posted this.

((Update: I now identify as a bi/pan demisexual, but I still feel this flag is super important for people who feel they need something general to explore under.))
