um, hey, this is kind of like a deeper post than i usually do.

but, honestly, should i consider worshiping hellenistic polytheism?? this isn't for like, extra in-depth role play, or that shit. i just genuinley want advice. i'm currently atheist, but i'm in a christian household. i go to church, but, i just don't believe. like really feel it. i've honestly tried my best, and tried for a long while, but it hasn't worked. one of my best friends (since kindergarten) suggested, "why don't you worship the greek gods instead? you've always been interested." and it is true. ever since i was little, i've felt a strong, and i mean STRONG affinity for the greek gods, and greek mythology. and i don't mean, like 'oh, i really like percy jackson' or 'yeah, i cried during WYFILWMA.' i mean like, accumulated 100s of dollars in fees for library books from just getting absorbed in the myths (my mom was NAWT happy about the fees, but it's her fault for raising an obssesive nerd and bringing them to the library), obsessively researching and studying the gods. and i don't think it's a special interest. i think it's more than that. i know more greek myths than bible stories. i can name more gods/goddesses then books in the bible. should i start?
