Think I might dump my queued posts in one big load. I have 318 posts in queue and wanna get it down to around 50

7 years. For 7 years, I’ve been on Tumblrpon, watching, tagging, reblogging, promoting. For 4 of those years, I actively dug through the tags, reblogging every piece of pony art I could find to promote the artists and collect it all into one place.

Tumblrpon grew larger and larger over that time, and in 2016 I finally burnt out. No longer did I have the time or energy to properly tag everything running through my drafts, so I moved to just drawblog promotion and episode liveblogging.

However, the show we all loved has now reached its end. Now, we start the Great Hiatus. The famine before the paradise or poison that will be G5. And as such, now is the best time for me to release my drafts. In the 3 years since I burnt out, I continued to collect pony art. It just piled up in my drafts, forever untagged, forever procrastinated. Hell, half the artists in there probably aren’t even in the fandom anymore. But now, to see us through the Great Hiatus, I’m going to dump it all into the queue. It can only hold 300 at a time, but I’ll try to shuffle it.

There’s currently 15,524 posts in it, and the winning option of the poll I had earlier was to dump it at 24/day. That means that this queue will last for roughly 650 days, or until August 2021. Here’s hoping we have new horse to look forward to by then.

As I said before, the reason I burnt out was because of the tagging. So, all these posts will be posted without tags. The only tags I’ll put on are #grimdark, #suggestive, #magnificent (for ones I particularly like) and the two #masterpiece tags. I might add a couple others if they come to mind while I do this.

Queue Change

In anticipation of Christmas, I will be doubling my queue’s output for the next week (14 posts a day instead of 7) - mainly just so I’m not releasing some of my already-queued advent stuff after advent is over! I’ll switch it back to 7 on Christmas.
