alternatively basketball buys a bag of bulk candy and just leaves a bowl out like when you leave food out for stray cats. and one still takes candy that basketball got for herself because shes like that

how would reverb eren feel about his dad trying to slither back into his life years later?

this is a really good question and it’s definitely getting addressed in one of the upcoming chapters. But even after all this time, Eren really doesn’t feel as though his dad can be trusted. He’s caused him a lot of grief when he was younger and never made a ‘real’ effort to say sorry for it. Just begging him to come back home and making it seem as if he’d never survive without his money. Now that Eren has become EJ and is far more successful than he ever was, Grisha believes that he’ll just forgive him (he’s one of those people that believes time is an apology, which it is not.) To this day, Eren struggles to cope with a lot of the stuff he put him through and thankfully, no one, not even his mom has ever pressured him to reconnect. Truthfully, as cold as it may be, Eren really doesn’t see a need for his dad to be around and he’ll tell anyone he doesn’t really exist to him. He has his mom, (Y/N), all of his friends and even his grandparents. He doesn’t feel as though he’s missing anything by not having a relationship because they weren’t close to begin with.
