Simple And Quick Dish For Dinner.. Have A Try 💕
Ginisang ampalaya, a P50 dish for dinner.
Tonight, I'm the master chef to two ladies in the house. Its past 7PM and no dish on the table for dinner. My girls stomach are hungry. So for the past dish, I decided to cook ginisang ampalaya (sauteed bitter melon) for them. I went rushly to talipapa, a small public market in and brought some ingredients. Ampalaya, eggs and tomatoes all these for 50 pesos. Now I love to share how to prepare and cook this ginisang ampalaya.
Here how to prepare Ginisang Ampalaya.
Ingridients.
½ kilo Ampalaya, chopped
1 red onion, minced
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 eggs
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of black pepper - crushed (to taste)
1 teaspoon of iodized salt (to taste)
1 table spoon of rock salt
½ cup of water
Preparation.
Place the chopped ampalaya in clean bowl, add the rock salt and mix well until the ampalaya juice extracted then, set aside. Get a separate bowl, put and beat the eggs well and set aside. Chopped the other ingredients.
Wash ampalaya well to remove the bitter ans salty taste and drain. After we prepare all ingridients. Its time to cook.
This 50 peso dish is good for 2 to 3 people
Let's start cooking.
Heat the pan on the gas stove. Put the oil olive, wait until you smell the aroma. Saute garlic and wait until golden brown, add onions and tomatoes. mix well for 1 or 2 minutes, then add the ampalaya, mix again, for another minute (mix gently). Add the water and make it streamer then add the bitten eggs (mix gently again). Add iodized salt and black pepper to taste. Now its done, transfer the ginisang ampalaya in a bowl and serve with steamed rice.
