A Little Thingy I Wrote #103
The quickest way to a man’s heart is cooking it slowly.
Obsessed.
Unsatisfied. Insatiable. The root of these words exemplifies our world’s destruction: never satisfied, always wanting more. It’s a cycle. You work hard to reach your goal, you obtain it, you gain some type of award, then you set another goal. We live in a continuous cycle of want want want. We are so enclosed, so focused on ourselves. From the outside looking in, I would say most of us are introverts-- in the real world that is. There is no substance to daily conversation. Our desires have overcome a multitude of giving. Our sharing, our compromise, our compassion, our empathy: all overshadowed by our raging desire for more. More money, more fame, more power, more things. The world tells you to put yourself first. You before your friends, you before your significant other, you before anyone else in the world. Because “It’s only your happiness that matters in the end. Not everyone else’.” False. The world has took this and manipulated and twisted it so much that it broke. The quickest way to happiness is simply learning to be selfless. Since this word is so outdated I should give you a definition. Selfless: concerned more with the needs and wishes of others than the needs and desires of oneself. In no way am I saying your happiness is not important, because it is. I’m just saying that making other people happy has an effect on everyone; this is a good cycle. You make someone else happy and it starts some sort of domino effect. This is how we make the world a better place. It starts with you and I. (the end got really cheesy i’m sorry, but it’s still true)
The Quickest EV In the World, Now With Less Roof
The Lotus Evija, Pininfarina Battista, and Rimac Nevera all have something in common. These are some of the rarest, most ridiculous electric hypercars ever built. While electric hypercars still haven’t really taken off among enthusiasts, they all represent a potential future where high-powered EVs shatter traditional supercar benchmarks. There’s a new-ish entry into this rarefied air: The Aspark…
