@quicktemper liked for a x.
there is a sting in his heart as he places the cover for the sign over it. the bonsai tree is no longer and so is the dojo. he can’t help but to feel how mr. miyagi would be dissapointed in him, letting himself be dragged into something that lacks honor and goes away from the roots of his karate. it came at a cost. but he believes he won a few small battles, a blooming ( hopefully ) friendship with robby, and at least, some old friends coming to help along the way.
and maybe, just maybe, the presence of some old faces, as he looks through the gate of the fence and robby stands there, looking a little lost ( he remembers he used to look at home there, and he knows it’s his fault that it’s no longer the case ). “robby. . .hey. come in.” instant invitation comes with ease, hands lingering on the sign, gaze dropping for a moment before he signals over. though being himself, there is a gentle worry that pangs his heart, it shows in a frown as he steps closer. “everything okay?”
