Personally, I believe that you don't choose your kins and it's kinda harsh to tell someone "just don't do it" when it's really out of your control. imo as long as you don't claim to have gone through poc struggles then it's okay.

hm, okay yeah! this is a pretty controversial theme.
first of all, i would recommend iding/kinning characters that aren’t coded as any race or coded as white, (ie: widowmaker, pearl) if you aren’t poc.
i’m poc, i’m latino, but that doesn’t mean i get to id as japanese characters and get away with it. sonia, for example, is white; she’s from an european country. my kins are for coping, although i do still have memories, and they’re a huge part of my identity.
latinos and asians experience a very different type of opression, too. i do not claim to be the races of my kins, or knowing what they go through.
it’s a very complicated theme, just that if you’re white, you don’t face any oppression or anything at all really. so it’s kinda … to see white people iding outside their race. i haven’t seen any whites iding as lance, sombra or other latinx characters but if i did i’d probably be pretty mad. or just go chill with it.
i guess it’s fine? i can’t really stop you but i won’t judge you or anything since i’m not japanese. and there are a lot of non coded or white coded characters that you can kin/id as if you’re white, just in case you say anything about how there aren’t any (because there ARE.)

The “dont judge” challenge is kinda stupid tbh. its just a way for jocks n shit to use it to boost the awareness of “how good they look” and most of the times they are making strange faces in attempts to immatate a “r******d look”, which is completely wrong on so many levels.
