sometimes i think about gavin laying his head in FL's lap as they comb their fingers through his hair and he's just. lookin up at them. doe eyed, his countenance relaxed and full of love. hints of awe in there too. they treat him so tenderly, like he's something to treat with the utmost amount of care. like he's a masterpiece, he's an artifact, he's a heirloom, he's... more.
he's still getting used to it. fl still melts when he looks at them like that.
angel's a drummer. the next time they saw david after their date lunch, he was with some shorter guy (angel recalls the name "asher" said in an exasperated tone) at a club they were playing at. angel and david lock eyes in the brief moment they were queuing up for their next song, and two different looks were shared.
david, in mild awe — that he masked as simply being caught off guard.
angel, eyes electric and sporting an equally surprised beam. with a twirl of their drumstick, they proceeded to play their heart out until their set was done.
