With the new Avatar series being post apocalyptic, I had to draw this up:
I'm not the most hyped about the new premise either, but I'm going to wait until we get actual footage to form my opinions!

WAIT A GODDAMN MINUTE
Seven Havens is a MIRROR of Wan's era. Which makes complete sense because the avatar cycle was reset with Korra, which could make Pavi the "new" first Avatar.
The Seven Havens are havens to protect from a world that has undergone a cataclysm, and the Northern Lights in the sky represent the presence of spirits, which we know from Legend of Korra. According to Raava in the Beginnings Episodes, in Wan's era humans settled on the Lion Turtles that provided them with protection from the spirits, and lost touch with each other.
The world has been cycled back to that state, except with Vaatu's presence having now returned to the cycle. It's a reset, a loop, and a chance to change the Avatar's presence into something more balanced.
回坑一下。依旧是反转au
the thing with katara is that she never died for aang bc aang simply never allowed her to, so when aang died for her, she didn’t allow him to stay dead because their love’s a two-way street. like imagine being vaatu stuck in a tree, watching a fourteen yr old undo the death of his sister’s human host. his biggest opp was a southern water tribe girl who simply refused to let her avatar remain dead. i know raava was shocked as hell too cuz damn, fuck reincarnation i guess 😂
Coughs and scratches back of neck wip or something,,,
Dialogue from this
Everyone hates on Korra for losing the connection to the past avatars when you should be hating Unalaq, but have you considered the upside that when Katara eventually passed away Aang's spirit was free to enjoy afterlife with his wife in peace?
Decided to draw something simple for my silly atla au while cooking some angst stuff. <]
