What nicknames do you think the Cullens have for each other? (either funny or not-so-nice)
I absolutely love the canon Em, Rose and Jazz nicknames cause it makes them seem like an actual family and there's not enough of that in canon.
Edward 100% the type of guy that hates nicknames and prefers people using his full name so the family don't have a lot of nicknames for him. Emmett calls him 'Eddie' a lot (Edward hates it) and Carlisle sometimes calls him 'Ed' when he's distracted. Rosalie calls him every make under the sun, but most regularly uses 'bitch boy', and she's really proud of 'Eddie the Emo'
Alice gets called Ali mainly by Jasper, but also by Edward and Rose, Emmett calls her 'tiny' or 'shortie' and the whole family sometimes jokingly call her 'oracle' at family meetings. like, they turn to her like 'and what does the oracle have to say on the matter' or something
Esme calls Emmett her 'teddy bear boy' (thank you @notquitetwilight for this one) and the entire family calls him 'Em' and Rose probably has some bear related nickname for him. when he and Emmett/Jasper are wrestling, they probably use 'big guy' a lot
Rosalie obviously has Rose which is used by the entire family minus Emmett who calls her 'Rosie'. I always headcanon that Carlisle and Rose have a really close bond so he probably has a nickname for her too but I can't think of one. I love the 'nice kitty' line, but it really doesn't work as a nickname. Edward probably calls her 'blondie' a lot
Carlisle has the most nicknames cause the kids just go crazy with it. Doctor Dad, Vamp-father, Dad-cula, Pops-Feratu, Dad the Impaler etc. Emmett, Edward and eventually Bella call him 'old man' a lot and I just know one of the kids tried to make 'Carl' a thing and he didn't speak to them for a week and he had to ask them to stop calling him 'My Creator' in public. Esme sometimes calls him Doctor Cullen. 'blondie' and 'babe ruth' have been known to appear during baseball games, and as a bonus, Charlie calls him 'doc'
the kids don't have many nicknames for Esme cause they mainly call her 'ma' 'mom', 'momma' etc but Emmett called her 'snow white' whenever Bella was around for a solid month after he found out that's what Bella thought of Esme at first. Carlisle calls Esme 'Es' (he called her Essie once but it brought back horrific memories cause Charles used to call her that when he was drunk) and Esme loves it cause it's his special nickname for her.
I don't have any ideas over what nicknames Bella has, but I do have one for what they don't call her. 'Bells'. that's reserved for Charlie. as Charlie begins to get older, and the harder parts of being immortal start to click for Bella, hearing her dad call her 'Bells' feels like a warm hug. her dad was the first one to call her bells, and after he passed, he's the last one to
