He kind of is? LAKSKS, it was purely by accident but so many things about him lined up after the spring update that its just-- yuh LMAO

I think he's a hybrid at least? Im still not 100% sure but hehe-- i see him filing his horns so that it's under his hair?

I think after winter they probably grow out like that

Tabitha the Rainbow Monster

A little late, but I made my own Rainbow Monster using the template provided in the "What Makes the Flowers Bloom" video. I took the screenshot myself to draw over! I did some sketches in my journal before trying the template.

I named her Tabitha. I was inspired by earthworms, dirty snow, and Cousin Itt from The Addams Family. Sometimes, she has teeth. I couldn't decide if she should have ears either. I'm not sure how to describe her personality. Strange, but mostly harmless? She's so down-to-earth that she's underground? Mellow. I dunno. For some reason, I can't imagine her laughing at jokes. Tabitha loves eating snow and dirt (snow slushies) and offers her favorite treat to everyone she meets.

Tabitha only has one spiral horn on her head. There isn't one hiding inside her hair on the other side of her head. Oh dear, you don't think that cone in her hand is her other horn?

What is her purpose in the grand scheme of things? Is she related to the Joyfuls? Perhaps the dirt eating is her way of assessing soil health? (No, she just likes eating dirt.)

Oh, Ada Lee Arachne, my other Welcome Home OC, snuck in there, too. The shell on her back is another character. His name is Jacob. His spiral eyes are constantly rotating. He understands everything.

One of my notes says that Tabitha sleeps during both summer and winter. I had a funny idea to have Tabitha's hand rise from the ground like a zombie in the last sketch. She's just in time for the harvest!

Welcome Home Puppet Show - The Similarities between Julie and Primrella!

Hi, y'all! This is my first Welcome Home Puppet Show post and I hope everyone enjoys my headcanons.

With the new update up, I realized that the step-sisters in the Primrella play resemble Julie's siblings!

Franny-Sally

Bea-Poppy

Jonsey- Eddie (Eddie is in drag for the play. ⭐SLAY QUEEN💅🏾)

Sally playing Bluebell resembles Franny as both are leaders in their respective groups. Franny is the leader of the Joyfuls both as a family member and band leader, Sally is a leadership role being a director in charge of all the plays in Welcome Home, as the role of Bluebell the leader of the step-sisters. Despite the two not meeting yet they share a strong desire for things to go according to plan and take their roles seriously.

Blue is the dominant color for both ladies as Franny is a blue Rainbow Monster, Sally's overall dress, bell bottoms, eyeshadow, and parts of her patchwork shirt are blue, and Bluebell's dress is blue.

Fun Fact: Both are played by the same voice actress

Poppy playing Honeysuckle resembles Bea.

Poppy and Bea share a motherly nature towards their friends/siblings and care about others' feelings and well-being. Even during the play Poppy broke character and apologized to Julie for what she said as Honeysuckle even offering a crumb cake with extra crumbs

Orange is the dominate color and share a ruffle like pattern between the three as Bea is an orange Rainbow Monster, Honeysuckle wearing an orange dress, and - well, Poppy's dominate color is red, but orange is a close second.

Eddie playing Clover who resembles Jonesy.

Eddie and Jonesy are the only males in the group while Eddie is a workaholic and friendly while Jonesy is laid-back and quiet both are forgetful and take their jobs seriously. Clover seems to be as wicked as her sisters leaving Primrella for the ball, Eddie did whisper an apology to Julie even saying " Filthy rags have never looked better" - Eddie you big teddy bear.

Green is the dominate color with Jonesy being a green Rainbow Monster and Clover's dress being green, Eddie does have green on his rainbow tie, but purple is his favorite color.

Each neighbor reflects on Julie's relationship with her siblings.

Originally 'Primrella' was originally called 'Julie-rella' and was an animated segment that became a 'tie-in storybook' format we saw, or it could've been two separate stories. Even today literature material doesn't always matchup to the show material due to different workers/writers/sales people.

In the story Primrella lives with her step-sisters, note not step-mother and stepsisters or father, step-mother, and stepsisters (like the original or other tellings) due to the father dying and the mother abandoning the children and taking her half of the fortune *Sarcasm* Wow, mother of the year!

In 'The Rainbow Monster Handbook' states that 'Rainbow Monsters start off as baby blushes all cradled up flower buds before growing up into big monsters'. There is no mention of any parents even by the Joyful siblings themselves just saying the four of them are family! It's unknown right now if they reproduce like mammals, asexually like starfish, or some other third-party option.

Julie does love her siblings, but the image below paints them in a different light. I (hopefully) doubt they're not abusive towards Julie and she did go to them to help bring Spring early and still communicates with them, at best the relationship is greatly strained.

With them nagging her to return home to the cave since Rainbow Monsters live together as a 'band' like a group of crows is called a murder, to join their actual band as the drummer, how Rainbow Monsters come in one color, the bigger horns the better, and as Julie put it - "Rainbow Monsters are colorful creatures that help make the seasons groovy!" meaning there are different Rainbow Monsters for each season and the Joyfuls represent Spring.

But as we all know even when family members doesn't mean to hurt us they do!!! After Julie's crashout during the Spring update she worries what her family (and Frank) will think of her because she can't make one flower bloom that is believed to only bloom in the Winter, a camera spying on the puppets from Marlo, as of the recent update a baby Rainbow Monster, The Buggle toy, or etc due to the heartbeat sound. (GOODNESSGRACIOUSIHOPENOTIKNOWTHISWASAHORRORTHINGBUTMANTHATISDARK) !

Both Julie and Primrella put on a happy front for their families and others despite treatment and inner turmoil.

Seeing how Julie and Frank are the "couple" in Sally's fairytale plays 'Sweet Briar' and 'Primrella', I theorize the next fairytale will be Rapunzel.

I know it's just Frank helping Julie with her hair but come on! Long golden hair, named after a plant, she's been a princess in all the other plays, and it's obvs Frank would be the prince.

Speaking of Frank on the news page it stated that Frank either left the show early or arrived late and is only features on merchandise if Julie is around despite Julie saying that Frank was the first neighbor she met (if the false memory thing is true) so that adds more lore to the whole Playfellow Workshop forcing Julie and Frank to be a 'together' despite it being obvs that Frank and Eddie are a loving couple.

the latest welcome home update inspired me to make a silly little rainbow monster oc. she's a soft-hearted daydreamer who's often in her own world. she helps autumn arrive by making the leaves change color via her guitar. i think her name is chryssie, short for chrysanthemum.
