Lately, my entire TikTok feed has been with the Steven Universe content and I was inspired. So I sat down to draw. Rainbow opal is my first invented character. It has no history, it was created just to be. And her design has undergone significant changes (I drew her first version in 2016)

Well, second is a Pearl. She was my first favorite character from SU. Elegant, neat and graceful. Of course, I was annoyed by her overprotectiveness, perfectionism, selfishness and arrogance, but I still loved and still love her. Especially after she is on the path of healing. She is immensely loyal, even being a revolutionary, she remained in her position - a servant of a Diamond/Rose. And she simply overshadowed her mind by the fact that she was free, although this is not at all true. It's a painful devotion, but I love such characters, I can't help it🥲

Thought I'll quickly join rose_pearls_drawing (Instagram)'s contest

Took some liberty freedom with Rainbow Opal! 💫

I asked if it was okay to take some liberty freedom and as soon as I heard yes, I knew I had to. I just love redesigns, specially mixed with nice colors 😊

The OG design is kinda chaotic for my taste and I was tempted to do a cotton candy form with it instead but that did not happen as we can all see 😔
