The Living Dinosaur Walking: Cassowary Documentary
The cassowary is not just a bird. It is a living relic from the age of dinosaurs.
Towering, powerful, and armored by evolution, the cassowary walks through tropical rainforests like a creature lost in time. With dagger-like claws, immense strength, and ancient survival instincts, it stands among the most dangerous birds on Earth — yet remains one of nature’s most misunderstood wonders.
This cinematic documentary explores the cassowary’s origins, behavior, power, and role in the ecosystem — revealing why scientists often call it the closest thing to a living dinosaur.
Explore. Learn. Be amazed.

What are these creatures? They are painted terrapins (Batagur borneoensis), which lives in rainforests in Southeast Asia. Arty and awesome, right?
Capybara Wednesday, week 4: With the preliminary character design of the Capybara wrapped up, there was just one thing left to make her complete – other animals for her to cuddle with!
There were several kinds of animals mentioned in the story, and I enjoyed deciding on what specific species of each I’d be including. I used the same approach in drawing them as I did on the capybara – sketches from reference first, then character studies, then color studies.
(And in case you’re wondering what animals made the cut: brown mantled tamarins, milk frogs, scarlet macaw and blue and yellow macaws, green iguana, Orinoco crocodile, giant river otters, the mata mata, birdwing butterflies, sulphur butterflies…actually there were a few more butterflies, but I can’t remember the names of them all!)

Animals of the Rain forest Animals around the World
So here is a collection of animals that live in the Rainforests, around the globe.
Did you know? Rainforests only cover around 2 percent the total surface area of the Earth, but really about 50 percent of the plants and animals on the earth live in the rainforest.
And this is not even 1% of all the animals that live there, now if I did that this chart would get wayyyyy too big.
