Ralph Runner Headcanons
-Like I said in my Harriet Runner headcanons, Ralph is a TERRIBLE cook. Do not let this man near a kitchen, he will somehow set something on fire even if he doesn't touch anything.
-Ralph didn't ORIGINALLY hate coyotes. In fact, he was actually quite curious about them in his youth and why roadrunners were so afraid of them! The reason his attitude slowly started to shift into bigotry/hatred is due to the propaganda that was carefully spoonfed to him by his own parents as well as him greatly looking up to ACME itself and believing everything they said.
-Ralph has to wear cuff links with EVERYTHING, including casual wear. He literally feels like he can NOT go without them, even if he would look ridiculous otherwise.
-Like his son Rev, Ralph tends to make a lot of noises in his sleep. He's constantly talking and muttering to himself as if he's having a whole conversation in dreams.
-Aside from inventing, Ralph has EXCELLENT eye-to-hand coordination, which means he's surprisingly good at cue sports such as billiards and pool.
-Ralph has a soft spot for gummy bears. There's a story that keeps getting brought up in the Runner family where once, a young Rev left out an entire jar of gummy bears, and the next morning, half of it was all gone! When young Rev tried playing detective to see who was taking them, he caught his dad scooping up handfuls and eating a quarter of gummy bears in the middle of the night red handed.
-Ralph's favorite color would probably happen to be chartreuse yellow. He's fond of green-yellow shades in general actually. It's honestly annoying to him that his least favorite Loonatic member (aka Tech) is wearing the color green when he believes Rev should have worn it.
-Ralph also happens to be an expert in coding and programming, being the one to teach Rev how to do it. He's made several apps in his free time (all of them promoting Runner Enterprises one way or another but still impressive).
-Ironically however, Ralph is a VERY slow typer. It takes nearly 5 minutes for him to type out a full paragraph on a document.
-Ralph is actually ambidextrous! That being said, he prefers writing and typing with his left rather than his right.
-Ralph is a wine connoisseur. He keeps BOTTLES upon bottles of wine in the house in a special cabinet. His favorite wine would have to be white wine however.
-Ralph doesn't get drunk much due to his work but when he does? Oh, he is very much a sloppy drunk. He's stumbling around, asking embarrassing questions, and accidentally revealing personal info.
-Ralph and Rip originally had a FAR better relationship when Rip was younger. However, their relationship slowly began to strain as Rip grew up and didn't agree with the path his dad had set out for him. It's part of the main reason why Ralph focuses on Rev so much....Rev was FAR more agreeable than his brother after all.
-Ralph actually has SOME knowledge of where his line came from, despite ACME"s best attempts to stamp out all knowledge. This is because in his youth, he actually had access to history books due to his own father's job before ACME took over.
-Ralph's relationship with his own father was...not great, to say the least. His father was a functioning alcoholic that would crash into drinking the second he got home from work due to the demands of his jobs.
