'I'm confident' - Sky Sports pundit tips Leeds to address key issue in January transfer window

Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman has claimed he is confident Leeds United are looking to sign a centre-forward this month. A mixture of lack of options and poor finishing in front of goal has seen the club target a marksman this winter. Eddie Nketiah was recalled from his loan spell by Arsenal, meanwhile, Bamford has missed glaring opportunities in each of the last three games against Arsenal, Sheffield Wednesday and Queens Park Rangers. Goodman sounded optimistic about the team signing a player as he claimed the team are short of options. He said: “he fact that Nketiah went back because he’s looking for first-team football is understandable from Arsenal’s and his perspective but it has left Leeds United very, very short with options. However, if reports are true, the club hasn’t learnt from last year and they could, once again, fall short in achieving promotion to the top-flight come May.
