idk I just think Jason's rejection of Batman's beautiful mercy isn't just an analogy for negligent authorities and 'but he has such a bright future' bullshit, but also a critique of the classism and hypocrisy built into Batman's story.

Okay - here’s my deal...

I have been feeling overwhelmed by all of the things I’ve started and never finished (plus just generally ‘blah’) and had decided to move to a new blog.  I was, however, outsmarted by tumblr and after some cheer-leading by the incandescent @floppant I ended up changing my URL and deleting a lot of my old posts.

I’m starting fresh, slowing down, focusing up and working on pose-making.

I will finish Zero’s story and he’ll follow me along here on The Spangleway.  Also, I will be expanding the wacky capers of Othar Tiktoffen and his best bud and roommate (with a dark and mysterious secret) Gilgamesh “Blitz” Blitzengaard.

I hope you won’t be disappointed!

Both.

I just had both at therapy. Childhood trauma was a lot and I kinda hate it here but it's okay.

sometimes I forget that simple joys are actually well within reach.

I love edamame, but I associate in my head as "treating myself" to splurge a little on it as an appetizer when eating out

but you can actually just. buy a bag of it for super cheap and then season it to your heart's content

idk I feel like sometimes I forget certain luxuries are actually deceptively simple

UGH.

Ok, so... I started writing "Conan meets the Bomb Squad Boys" and I'm currently rethinking my choices...

I wanted to write it from Conan's POV because I thought it would be interesting to see his thoughts about Hagi and Matsuda, you know?

But after basically writing down the whole case with Conan and his friends at the parade, and barely being able to really change a lot of things, because, you know, consistency reasons and trying not to fuck up...

... I'm now utterly bored by it ='D Can't imagine anyone wanting to read that, sooo I'm gonna scrap that and do what I should've done from the start - rewrite the whole chapter from a different POV, so we get to see something we haven't seen already.

Now I just need to decide if I'll go with Matsuda's POV again or Hagi's.
