ABOUT YOU

i love a good apollo reader bc sunshine ppl are so so sweet. enjoy!!
you had decided that this moment might be your favorite. you laid on the beach in your favorite swimsuit, tanning in the heat of the sun. percy was splashing around in the water, doing different tricks to earn praise from you. moments like these helped remind you that, through everything, you were just two teenagers in love. no war ( or temper tantrum from the gods ) could take you away from eachother.
“sunshine?” percy asked from the water, “you there?”
“mhm. just enjoying myself.” you returned, shooting him a toothy grin.
“come swim?” he looked at you with a pleading gaze, motioning for you to join him. normally, you would say no, but something about the way his hair laid over his forehead or the way his skin glistened due to the heat made you agree. you stood up, walking over to the water and standing there for a moment.
“whatcha waiting for?” he smirked, offering his hand to you.
“i’m trying to acclimate, thank you very much.” you placed your hand in his. he quickly dragged you into the water, you letting out a gasp due to the temperature change.
“you have to go all at once. makes it easier.” he winked at you in mischief before pulling you entirely under the water. due to the taunt skin of your boyfriend, you weren’t as cold as you expected to be. being apollos daughter might have helped with that as well, but you chose not to address that part. you blinked away the water in your eyes before swimming back up to the surface. pushing your hair out of your face, you looked around for percy.
“perce!” you knew he could hear you from wherever he was under the water, yet he didn’t respond with words. instead, he wrapped his arms around your waist and picked you up. you wrapped your legs around his torso while he supported your thighs.
he looked at you with so much intensity you wondered if you should be concerned. his gaze held every emotion he couldn’t express through words. suddenly, he leaned in to place his lips on yours. the kiss was gentle. so soft yet filled with so much passion. one of his hands moved from its place under your thighs to the back of your neck. his skin against yours felt like pure euphoria. your hands tangles in his hair, pulling on the raven locks. this elicited a groan from percy.
he pulled back slowly, resting his forehead against yours. he spoke gently, “gods, sunshine.” he laughed slightly, head dipping down to your neck to trail kisses along the skin. “you taste like saltwater.” he pointed out.
“is that a good thing?” you questioned. you could feel his smile against the skin of your neck.
“it’s an amazing thing, sweetheart.” he spun you around in the water.
as time continued on, you both continued to swim around. from splashing eachother to floating on your backs, you just enjoyed each others presence. the sun started to set, casting an orange hue along the sky and water. bye the time the two of you got out of the water, your skin was filled with prunes and your hair was stiff. you didn’t mind, however, because you got to sown some much need alone time with your boyfriend in the serenity of the ocean water. you couldn’t have spent your afternoon better.

You were always there for them. When they were feeling upset or just needed to hear encouraging words you were there. You were even there when they became sick. They always appreciated you helping them get better and you staying with them, so they don’t feel lonely. They would make little jokes that one day they would take care of you but you told them that you can take care of yourself. Well, a week goes by, and they called you to ask if you wanted to go to have a small picnic at the beach.
“Hey Y/N are you doing anything today?” You muted the call and coughed into your sleeve and then unmuted. “Oh no I’m not doing anything. Why?” You could hear them rumbling around and you were wondering what they were doing. “Well, I wanted to ask if you want to go to the beach with me and have a picnic. Just the two of us.” You were about to answer but you ended up coughing and sneezing. “Hey are you sick?” You forgot to mute the call and they heard everything which made you sigh heavily.
Decided to work on a little chaotic collab with my mutuals.

A Drink Too Many
“Wanna run that by me again-“ Hero asked.
“I said I want to strengthen the truce between The Star Sanses and Bad Sanses by bringing them closer!” I say with an innocent smile.
Hero pinched his nose ridge, “And to do that…..you want to take them ALL out to drink??? You know this is not going to end well…..I mean in general their teams are already barely getting along. But they are MORTAL ENEMIES. I doubt just a few drinks will-“
“Mi amor? You think too much. And since you also work too much? Take this as an opportunity to unwind for the love of your SANITY-“ I said while pulling him along.
“But I have files to do-! Dammit…..,” Hero ends up getting dragged by me anyway.
And when we go inside the room I rented however?
Utter.
Chaos.
“C’mon ol pal, I know you can go faster than that!” Ink taunted Error.
“I SWEAR IM GONNA FLING YOUR SHORT ASS OUT THE WINDOW-,” Error screeched.
Dream gulps, “H-Hello brother…..”
Nightmare chuckles darkly, “Hello brother…..I see you brought me the golden apple…..”
“Eek-! Brother no! Remember the truce! REMEMBER THE TRUCE-!” Dream had to hide behind Cross.
Let’s not even mention Dust messing with Swap, Killer and Marco pulling pranks, Rebel just either messing around or flirting- so what do I do? Blow horn into a megaphone- everyone stopped and covered their ears or held their heads.
“SIT YO ASSES DOWN-,” I shouted, “God…..listen. Here’s what’s gonna happen. We drink, we have a good time, might get drunk, and we GET. ALONG. You understand me?”
“And if we don’t? We don’t have to you do realize that…..” Nightmare said in a taunting tone. He caught the Chancla I threw at him.
“Don’t get smart with me Jackass! NONE of you are leaving until you’ve had some fun!” I huff.
Ink laughed and wrapped an arm around my shoulders (after standing on his chair to do so-), “Trust me Lisa! We’re having plenty of fun! Ow-!”
I pinch his cheek, “Having fun being a little shit? Yeah I see that.” I grab Error’s cheek too “You two are sitting together until you get along-“
Error wriggled around, “DON’T SIT ME WITH THAT PIECE OF SHIT SQUID-“ I sat them down anyway, “Shit…..” Ink was giggling with his shit eating grin but I bonk him.
“Don’t start yo shit either. And Marco sit with the Murder trio and Cross. No funny business. Rebel don’t start yo shit either or I’m getting Lust and Fresh on yo ass- And Nightmare let your brother sit with you WITHOUT scaring him-! Swap? You will be helping around as well,” I take a deep breath finally, “And waitress? You got drinks? I’ll take your entire stock- We ALL drinking tonight-“
Bunny jumped, “Lisa you can’t handle your alcohol!!!”
“I WILL TONIGHT-,” I stomp away.
XChara sighs, “……We’re gonna have a rough night huh? Watching these idiots.”
“Yup,” Bunny says, “And unfortunately I gotta do it with you.” She walks away, leaving XChara to process that and shout a loud and offended ‘Hey-!’
Some time went by and everyone was finally unwinding. And I was not slowing down in my drinking- some of the guys were already getting drunk.
Ink was hugging me and giggling nonstop, “This really is fuuuuun! Thanks for the idea Lisa!”
I was suddenly yoinked back via wires, Error huffed, “Hands off the chocolate supply!”
Nightmare suddenly slams the table, making us jump as he suddenly yoinked me away with his tentacles, “You fools…..she’s MINE.”
Small squeak of literal fear, “Help meeeeeee-!”
“I-I’ll help!!! Brother please let her go-!” Dream said, prying at the tentacles.
But Nightmare was too drunk to care, having me near him just to piss off Ink and Error and laugh like a maniac. I definitely need more drinks after this- Hero eventually comes around to help, though it was a struggle. I went to get more drinks, running off before the three got me again.
Hero went to check on the others, “Is everyone alright here too? ……I hope-?”
Hopefully Marco and Rebel are doing better.
I'm Packing up My Crayons and Leaving
“Lesso you’re drunk!” Clarissa says sharply, struggling to support the Evil Dean’s body weight as she teeters precariously down the musty corridor to Lesso’s office.
Before Dovey can blink, she finds herself backed up against the cold stone wall and Lesso’s face leering down at her. Acrid breath wafts into her nose. Stunned at how quickly she could move while drunk, all the Good Dean could do was gape up at her friend.
“That’sh all it takes to shu-ut you up then, huh? Close quarters?” Lesso laughs, slurring her words. “I’m sh-shtill sober enough to kill you, darling, so don’t push-sh your luck.” Launching herself off the wall, Lesso stumbles to her room, tripping on the threadbare Moroccan rug covering the floor.
The office door slams shut. Moments later, heavy sounds of retching come from within. Sighing, Dovey straightens herself up and follows the Dean for Evil in.

Takemichi tapped his foot, brushing his curly hair out of his face, cursing at himself for not gelling it back this morning.
A black car pulled up in front of the ravenette, a click signaling that the door was unlocked. Takemichi stopped leaning on the building behind him and made his way over to the cab.
"Hanagaki." Takemichi opened the door to be greeted with the male inside, black hair with white strips embroidered into the dark locks.
"Kokonoi, could Inui not make it?" Takemichi stepped inside, noticing the blond's absents. Koko sighed, nodding, "Yeah... he had some shit to do or whatever...". Takemichi raised his eyebrows at the sudden informal language, nodding in return anyways. The blue-eyed male closed the door, buckling in, signaling the driver that they were ready to go.
...
"Sir, we're ready to go..." Takemichi glanced at the driver, who just sweatdropped, not making any eyecontact with his passenger.
...
"Hey, are you deaf? He said hurry the fuck up!" Koko kicked the back of the driver's seat, startling the poor dude.
"But sir, you told me not to listen to anyone but y-"
"You gonna drive or what?!" The driver silenced his mouth, pressing his lips together as he stepped on the gas. Takemichi watched in silence, trying his best to keep up a good posture, despite the growing pain in his back.
...
"Damn this... What kinda driver are you? My stomach feels as if it's going to disintegrate cause of this crappy driving..." Koko crossed his legs. furrowing his eyebrows at the driver who just lowered his head, eyes still on the road, "Sorry... sir...".
Takemichi sighed, reaching out his hand to Koko as if asking for something. The clearly angrier male raised an eyebrow at the offer, "Yes, Hanagaki? Do you need something?".
"Oh uh, yeah could you give me your hand real quick?" Takemichi nervously asked, Koko was a scary guy, but he was still his senior so it should be fine, right? Koko narrowed his eyes at Takemichis hand, sighing, "Yeah sure, this isn't like one of those cheesy attempts at flirting, is it?".
"Eh? No, of course not..." Takemichi furrowed his eyebrows, surprised at the sudden accusation. Koko rested his chin on the heel of his hand, lending the other to Takemichi, who placed it on top of his own. Koko glanced over at the ravenette, curious as to what he was going to do.
Takemichi bit his lip, pressing his thumb down gently but firmly just below the intersection of Kokos' thumb and index finger, digging deeper into that area and then scooping in an upward motion.
"Oi, what're you doing?" Koko clenched his fists, though not pulling his hand away. Takemichi pressed his lips, "Sorry... My mom did this to me back when I got carsick... always helped...".
Koko tensed, loosening up his hand, "I see... continue...". Takemichi relaxed, his tense position, slightly surprised with how soft Kokos' tone of voice had gotten, then continued to massage the others' hand, a soft smile creeping up to his face. Koko avoided his gaze, dozing off with every touch.

The driver who just got abused by Koko: 😶😶
Broken
Alone, Elain slipped away making her way back to the world above. Snow had fallen quickly during her time beneath ground, a thick layer transforming the meadow of Croft Heath into a winter wonderland. It looked magical, the way the silver light made the crystal-encrusted snow sparkle. Her feet sunk into the powdery softness and she shivered, the cold creeping up her bare legs. The night had aged. An inky-black night had set in, the jagged treetop horizon bleeding into it, impossible to tell where they ended and the sky began.
Elain trudged over to the iced mound of wood, blackened from the fire and fell to her knees before it as if in prayer. Then she let the tears come, falling one after the other so fast they blurred her vision and racked her body.
Death’s servant swooped down from snow-laden skies. Huge and brooding with wings cutting the air either side of him. Azriel truly looked like something to fear. He strode towards her, snow crunching under each step, the tips of his wings carving two parallel furrows in his wake.
It was a ruse though. The menacing silhouette against the bleak landscape, death personified. All misdirection because as he neared, falling to his knees mirroring her, he looked the opposite of menacing. Death’s face was all soft features and large eyes. From where Elain knelt, she could see his cheeks glistening silver.
Elain sniffed away the last of her own tears and wiped them away with the back of her hand.
“What are you doing out here? It’s freezing.” He took one of her hands to warm it between his own. Azriel shook. He trembled so much each membraned panel making up his glorious wings rippled like water rings.
“I told you to stay away.”
“And I will. But today...today I thought you might need me.” She’d never seen his eyes so bright, glowing almost.
“I don’t need you,” Elain whispered, trying desperately to stop her voice from breaking. She nearly snatched her words back as hurt struck his face.
It was gone in a second.
“There is one thing you could do for me though,” she gulped back a fresh stream of tears, her cheeks wet and ice-cold.
“Anything.” His large hands moved to her face.
“Help me find a way to bring her back...I could bring her back.” The acute icy contact of her skin against his burned. She moved to him, grasping handfuls of his shirt in her fists.
“No, Elain.”
“No?” Her breathing laboured beneath the weight of her sobs.
“You cannot, must not ask that of me.”
“It was good enough for you. How come it was all right to resurrect someone you loved but not me? Do I not matter? Is my grief not enough?”
Strong hands forced her to look at him. “It’s because you matter more,” his eyes glazed over. Azriel grabbed her hand and crushed it to his chest where his heart thrashed in his ribcage.
When Elain tried to pull away he clamped down harder. “This, my heart has lain cold and dormant for five-hundred years and yet the mere sight of you knelt by her body broke me in ways nothing else ever has. You could ask anything of me, bargain or no.”
“Don’t,” Elain gave a half-hearted attempt to pull away but he held on.
“Anything,” he reaffirmed. “And I would do it. But not that. If your sister returned, I believe she wouldn’t be the same. Not the sister you loved.”
“Then why is it different for you?”
Azriel dropped his hands at last and leaned back. “Because I didn’t care what she came back as, as long as she came back. I don’t want that for you.”
Elain’s tears subsided, a kernel of control returning.
“Tell me how I can make this right.”
“Ah. The noble warrior wishes for a way to gain back his good grace. You saved my life. What more could I ever ask of you?”
He scrambled forward as if he’d touch her again, but he didn’t. “That’s not it. I want you to look at me the way you used to. As if I was something.”
As if you were everything.
“And I know, I know I have no right to ask anything of you, not today of all days.”
“Okay,” Elain said, her voice dangerously low. “I’m going to close my eyes and when I do, I want you to kiss me.”
Azriel inhaled sharply.
“I’m asking you to kiss me and when I open my eyes I want you gone.”
He gave an agonised groan.
Elain closed her eyes, her heart thudding in her ears and almost breaking out of her chest. She wouldn’t open them again until he had done as she’d asked. She didn’t trust herself not to cling to him and beg him to stay.
The only thing to kiss her lips was the frozen air and her own tears. She didn’t think he was going to do it. Perhaps he’d vanished so silently the stars themselves who saw and knew all were not even aware.
Then there was pressure under her chin bringing it upwards, his hot breath teasing her face. Elain gasped. When his lips finally met hers, her first thought was it wasn’t like the other night. Their kisses then had been stolen. Quick and heated, but not this. Elain’s heart broke with each gentle brush of his lips, soft caresses that barely grazed hers as though he was frightened of hurting her. She wanted to know if he’d closed his eyes. A minor detail that seemed so significant.
Elain clasped her hands together, anchoring them down to stop herself reaching for him, to stop herself from running her fingers through his thick hair to pull him closer. She wanted his reverence to ebb away like the tide, for his tongue to slide between her teeth so she could taste the coolness of spring rain again.
Then all too soon, it was over. Azriel broke away, shuddering, a throaty sound rumbled from him. Every rise and fall of his chest matched hers perfectly. Still, she couldn’t open her eyes. Elain hitched a breath when he moved against her and the heat surging from her stomach to her chest thought he would kiss her again. It was wrong.
His frozen cheek slid against her own, the sound of his lips parting fanning the dancing flames deep down inside. “I may be gone from your sight, but I will never leave you, just as you will never leave me,” he whispered in her ear.
She whimpered as he slipped away, her lips still tingling from his touch, and she did not open her eyes. No, she kept them clenched tight, lost in the endless dark.

Lights out, I still hear the rain. These images that fill my head now keep my fingers from making mistakes. Tell my voice what it takes to speak up, speak up, and keep my conscience clean when I wake.
She turned off the lights and laid in bed, staring up at the ceiling. Her hand reached out to the side of her, but she only slept alone now. Feeling the cold of the bed next to her made her sigh. She placed her hands on her stomach. She felt conflicted. Part of her was calm and at peace as she listened to the rain hitting the roof of her home. The other part fell into memories with him.
“Are you ready?” He asked her with a big smile. She couldn’t help but laugh at his excitement. She had finally agreed to travel with him.
“Let’s get outta here!” She said excitedly and hugged him. Now it would just be them and the world to travel. Together they grabbed their bags and set off for the airport. First stop was the UK.
Her hands subconsciously roamed her body just as his would on her. She zoned in and out of the memories and pretended he was there, running his hands along her torso. It wasn’t the same, but for just one moment she made herself believe he was there.
Now there’s an aching in my back, a stabbing pain that says I lack the common sense and confidence to bring an end to promises that I make in times of desperate conversation. Hoping my night could be better than theirs in the end, just say when.
A stabbing pain took her focus, making her gasp loudly. She grit her teeth and took slow deep breaths. She groaned and waited for the pain to subside to go back to her memories.
Nights filled with passion, days filled with adventures. She couldn’t get enough of it. They went back home every now and then to see their families for a bit. For the most part, they were inseparable. She loved that though. She loved being around him. She loved him.
Then the days changed and she hadn’t been feeling well. She assumed it was the flu because she had been vomiting a lot. It was then she started distancing herself from him, not wanting to be a downer with their plans. “Dear, wake up. It’s time to go out and explore. You’ve been cooped up here the past 2 days.” He explained. She hadn’t told him exactly how sick she had been feeling.
“You go.” She whispered, keeping her eyes closed and turning her back on him.
“Are you sure?” He asked, concerned.
“Can you just go and leave me alone for the damn day?!” She snapped at him. She had grown irritable lately. She turned and glared at him. Through the glare she could see how hurt he looked.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to stay? Are you okay, dear?” He asked softly.
“I just need to be alone fo fucking once! Jesus fucking Christ! I need some time to myself, don’t you fucking get that?” She snapped once more. He looked down then stood up and turned his back on her.
“Okay, I’ll be back tonight.” He whispered then started getting ready to leave. She waited for 20 minutes after he left then got out of bed and started getting ready for her lone mission. He couldn’t know what she was going to be doing today.
Don’t make this easy, I want you to mean it. Jasey, say you’ll mean it. You’re dressed to kill, I’m calling you out. Don’t waste your time on me.
She couldn’t make this easy on him. She needed him to feel like them not being together anymore was a good thing. She started as many arguments as she could. One night he stumbled into the hotel room drunk. “Have you been drinking?” She asked as if it wasn’t obvious. She tried to hide her hurt because it hurt knowing she was the cause of his excessive drinking.
“What do you think?” He scoffed.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” She asked, raising her voice at him.
“Nope.” He said, making the ‘p’ sound pop.
“God, it’s like I don’t even know you anymore.” She scoffed and walked to the bathroom. She quickly closed the bathroom door and locked it.
“You don’t know me anymore? I’m not the one that’s fucking changed!” He yelled through the door.
“You trying to say I’ve changed?” She asked.
“You’re not wrong.”
“How have I changed?”
“You were never this big of a bitch until a few months ago.”
“Fine, then don’t waste your precious time on me! Just tell me to leave and stop wasting your time!”
“Maybe I will!”
“So, that’s how you really feel, huh?” She asked, hitting the door before sliding to the floor and starting to silently cry.
I’ve never told a lie and that makes me a liar. I’ve never made a bet, but we gamble with desire. I’ve never lit a match with intent to start a fire, but recently the flames are getting out of control. Call me a name. Kill me with words. Forget about me, it's what I deserve.
She knew she did it to herself and she knew she was lying to herself when she told herself that she deserved the hate she got from him. She pushed him to his limit every single day. Pushed him to say rude things he later apologized for. Finally she made her mind up on what to do.
They were getting ready to go to Sweden next. They left the next morning, but she had other plans for herself. Plans he wasn't privy to. When he went out to get a few things, she sat down and wrote a note that he wouldn’t see for a little bit which she was fine with. He would read it when she was ready for him to.
She stopped the constant arguments and turned the nights back into love filled nights. She wished she hadn’t done that as it made her decision harder to follow through with, but it was too late now. Her plan was already made and things were already falling into place for it. So quickly she wrote. When she was done, she folded the paper and placed it in his bag under an article of clothing.
I was your chance to get out of this town, but I ditched the car and left you to wait outside. I hope the air will serve to remind you that my heart is as cold as the clouds of your breath and my words are as timed as the beating in my chest.
The next day was cold as they got ready to leave for Sweden. It was getting ready to be winter. She was still following through with her plan. “Fuck.” She whispered loud enough for him to hear as they walked through the lobby of the hotel.
“What is it?” He asked softly.
“I just realized I left my charger in the hotel room. Can you go get it for me?” She asked. “I’ll wait right here for you.”
“Yeah, I’ll be right back.” He said with a nod and turned around to go back on the elevator. As soon as he was in it and going up, she walked outside as fast as she could and got the taxi she called while in the bathroom pretending to shower.
“To the airport please.” She said quickly. She was going home. She had to. He walked into their room and looked around. He checked everywhere, but couldn’t find her charger. Finally he gave up and went back down to the lobby.
“I think you packed it-” He cut himself off when he realized she wasn’t waiting for him. He sighed and looked down. He knew this day would come, he just always wished it wouldn’t. She let fears fuel her life. It was inevitable that she would leave him at some point. Why had he fallen for that trick? He shook his head and went to the front desk to check out. Then he started on his trip to Sweden.
He didn’t think he should find her right now. Not after all their arguments lately. Not when she made it clear in the moment that she had made up her mind. You couldn’t change that woman’s mind once it was made up. On the way to Sweden, he wanted to charge his phone and started to search his bag for his charger. He felt a piece of paper and pulled it out and read it.
“I can’t do this anymore. I just have to leave. It’s nothing you said or did. It’s really just all me. I will always love you…but I can never see you again. Don’t come after me. Don’t message me. Please just block me on everything and forget about me. You don’t need me fucking up your life anymore. Have a good life. Enjoy traveling. Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.” The letter said.
She still remembered those days so clearly. She avoided every person in the airport that looked even remotely like him. Her best friend picked her up from the airport and brought her home. Once she was home, she got on her phone and blocked him on every social media. She knew he wouldn’t do it. He didn’t need her in his life and didn’t have to see what she was up to in life. With a sigh, she turned on her side and forced herself to sleep. She needed to stop thinking about that. That was all 6 months ago. She shouldn’t keep holding onto it, but she did.
*6 Years Later*
“Sweetheart, why don’t you go get a piece of candy. You’ve been doing really good in school.” She said to her little boy. With a nod he skipped off through the store. She chuckled and kept walking, continuing to shop. That is until she had zoned out and ran into someone else’s cart. “I am so sorry about that, I must’ve zoned out.” She said then looked at the person. Almost instantly she recognized him and took in a sharp breath. “Oh my god, it’s you.”
“The one and only. What? Did you think I died? That’s impossible.” He said that usual arrogant attitude was still there.
“No, I just didn’t think you’d come back here. I thought you’d stay out of the country. You always liked that better.” She whispered.
“Well, if it makes you feel any better, I’m only here temporarily.” He explained.
“Oh, okay.” She said as her son came running back.
“Mommy! Mommy! Look what I got!” He said excitedly. She looked down at him with a big smile as he waved a KitKat bar in the air.
“Oooo, our favorite! Why don’t you put it in the cart, baby?” She asked, he nodded excitedly and put it in the cart then stood on the end, holding onto the basket happily.
“You have a kid?” Her old friend asked, reminding her who she ran into.
“I do.” She said softly.
“How old is he?” Her ex asked curiously looking at the young boy.
“He’s 5.” She promised herself she would NEVER tell him he has a kid. He never wanted any, so why should she put that on him now? It’s too late now.
“Wait, what?” He asked, confused. He was already piecing together whether it was his son or not.
“Don’t even try to think that. I had a one night stand as soon as I got home to get over you. Don’t worry about it. I have to go. I have to get to his Parent Teacher Conference.” She said curtly. With that she went to finish her shopping. She felt bad for lying to him, but he never wanted to have any kids. She could NEVER tell him the truth. He would have dropped everything to be there with her through it, but he didn’t want kids and she wasn’t going to make him drop everything for something he never really wanted.
