If I'm not mistaken, this month is Carla's birthday...... ah I should make something (maybe?😂)
Let me start by saying...1-3?
I know its not #walkingdeadwednesday however last night’s episode was phenomenal....and to me this is just some of reasons why.
Warning Spoilers Ahead and you have been warned!
1. Negan finally calling Simon out: I get it, Simon is his right hand man. He makes sure everything runs smoothly at The Hilltop however how does Negan know what Simon is truly up to. Simon can easily take a box of supplies for pickup for himself and refrain from revealing that to Negan and well Negan wouldn’t know. Simon is trying to help however he’s too fueled with his own power running Hilltop on Negan’s behalf that he’s inching himself closer to the coveted seat Negan is in.
2. Negan and Father Gabriel using walker guts to escape: Both men are stuck in a trailer surrounded by walkers. Tons of them. Let’s face it, they could be in there for a long time and the longer they are in there the worse things will get. We know first hand Father Gabriel had used the tactic of covering yourself up in walker guts back Alexandria when Jessie and her boys died. Its known to work as we have seen other characters do this in the past including Carol, Rick, Carl and Glenn. It was a nice callback to the tactic and funny how Negan already knew to do this thinking Father Gabriel wouldn’t.
3. Small uprising a brewing at The Sanctuary: As a old expression goes that when you cut off the head of the snake everything falls apart. And wouldn’t you know it, it started happening. The people, the workers only listen to Negan because they fear him. Take Negan out of the equation and well....why should they fall in line anymore? Why should they do as their told? True, this was ended pretty quickly as Negan waltzes in cover in walker guts in such a fashion you can’t help but cringe whistling that little tune....
