🍓🍓🍓 all for Reggie concerning thoughts about 1 (one) Big Goof in different stages in her life: teen on the Citadel, adult in the Alliance, and then in Andromeda.

🍓 Reggie always wished Randy would complain less and do more about his situation at home, but she honestly understood why he didn’t. If she’d stayed on the Citadel longer, she probably would’ve started trying to convince him he needed to lay down the law, so to speak, with Frank, and she would help him do it. It likely would have gotten him in the biggest trouble of his life, though, so she’s glad she didn’t.

🍓 I...am so sorry but Reggie probably didn’t think about Randy at all while she was in the Alliance. Between getting through learning how to use and control her biotics and her actual military training and everything after, she...kind of let a lot of things slip out of memory and their brief friendship was one of them.

🍓 Reggie liked Kid Randy a lot, but he was never really her type. Andromeda Randy had bulked up and showed off just how sheltered his spacer ass really was, planting him firmly in the territory of Fantastic Looking Dumbass, a.k.a. Reggie’s Entire Type. She’d accuse him of having done it on purpose, but she couldn’t always accuse him of walking five feet without tripping on purpose so who really knows. In fact, she could never tell if the dumb was just an act or not; there were times it would seem like it was impossible for someone to really be that fucking stupid and times when he couldn’t possibly have done something that smart. It was frustrating as shit but gave her the room she needed to not be lying later when she told him she always thought he wasn’t really that much of an idiot. Holy fuck did he get unfairly hot, though. There was never, ever any doubting or arguing that.

“So, what are we gonna do with him?” Reggie gestured to the doorleading to the room that held one of Sloane’s lackeys. “Reyes told me that wecan’t kill this guy.”“What makes him so special?” Randy asked.“Apparently, he’s in charge of her exports for the rare modded weapons shesmuggles through Kadara. He knows when the next one arrives, and we have to getthat time and location out of him.”“Well…. We can do the Good Cop Bad Cop routine.”Reggie blinked at him and then glared. “This ain’t no buddy cop show, Rando. No,we’re not doing that.”Randy scoffed and crossed his arms. “Well, fine, I was gonna let you be the BadCop, but now you’re the Good Cop.” He started to head for the door.“Randy…!” But he was already through the door, and she growled under her breathbefore putting her helmet on and joined him. 

The man inside was cuffed at his wrists and ankles, sitting upright at a smalltable. He barely looked up when they walked in.“Okay, you son of a bitch!” Randy began, deepening his voice, and slammed hishands on the table. “You will tell us what we need to know or you will pay forit severely. And on this lawless barren planet, we aren’t above torture.”The man looked him up, raising a brow and curling his lip. “The fuck you gonna do,pretty boy? Blind me with your perfect white teeth?”“I am so glad you asked.” Randy looked to Reggie, smirking, and could onlyimagine her eyeroll as she shifted weight. He swiped through a few screens andwhen he hit the final button, a very loud, very obnoxious noise came throughthe omnitool. And out of his mouth.“TELL ME WHY! AIN’T NOTHING BY A HEARRRRTAAAACHE! TELL ME WHY! AIN’T NOTHINGBUT A MIIISTAAAKE! TELL ME WHY! I NEVER WANNA HEAAAAAR YOU SAAAAAAY ‘I…WAAANTIT THAAAAAT WAAAAAY’!”And it continued. For two hours. Randy went through his ancient playlist of1990’s/early 2000’s boyband hits, belting his heart out, throwing wild gesturesas a he sang. At some point, he was serenading the poor prisoner, clutching athis clothes, and reaching up to caress his face.“Jesus Christ, will you make him stop!?”Reggie shrugged. “Are you ready to talk?”“Yes! Fucking hell, just make him stop!”Later, after they confirmed the time and location of the drop, Reggie regardedRandy, her arms crossed.Randy caught her staring and gave her a crooked smile. “What?”“That…certainly got the job done.” She pursed her lips and nodded a little. “Butnext time, I’ll be the Bad Cop, okay? I need time to get that godawful musicout of my head.”He gasped, a hand to his chest. “Boyband music still fucking slaps.”She stared at him, then shook her head. “You were gonna get laid tonight beforeyou made that comment, but now, your hand is gonna have to do the job.”

― two headcanons you have for your muse:

He is very book smart, especially in math, and he’s able to do simple and some complex arithmetic in his head in a matter of seconds. However, he is, for lack of better words, a dumbass.  ...Or is he?

He was born and raised on the Citadel, so he has limited personal experiences with nature. Kadara is the first planet he set foot on, and despite the planet’s hostile environment, he finds the beauty in everything: in the dirt, the blueness of the sky, the dry vegetation, the sparse clouds. He’s often outside just to be outside, breathing air that isn’t artificially created.

― three things that your muse likes doing in their free time:

Tinkering - he likes to build mechanical sculptures or build armor suits

Humming - usually songs from 1990 - 2050, basically ancient by the time he was born. He’s the “I was born in the wrong generation” kind of guy when it comes to music.

Nap - although he loves nature, he never experienced a summer in his life, much less a sweltering one, so he’s often too hot to sleep at normal times, passing out from exhaustion mostly.

Arielle Keller - His younger sister and arguably the most important person in his life. He took the brunt of the discipline from their overbearing father to give her the chance to breathe and be herself that he never got himself. He never resents her for having a better life than himself. He made sure she joined him on the journey to Andromeda to escape the Reaper invasion.

MaryAnne Keller - His mother and the main adult figure in his early life that was on his side. She defended him when his dad, Frank, tried to use petty measures to punish him when he didn’t do anything wrong. Her death from the Soverign attack on the Citadel confirmed his plan to leave the Milky Way.

Reggie Park ( @leothelionsaysgrrrr ) - His first friend on the Citadel, and though their encounters were brief - only a few weeks before she was sent away - she became the most important in his life. Her acts of rebellion inspired him to rebel against his dad - all in legal ways that Frank couldn’t punish him for - and become his own person. It truly was a miracle that Randy reunited with Reggie on Kadara through a series of very specific circumstances and become the love of his life. He would absolutely die for her, but only by her hand - he isn’t allowed to die by someone else’s hands. ;)

Reyes Vidal - His best friend, and eventual lover, the first truly friendly face he met on Kadara. After Sloane essentially had him hunted after a botched assignment, Reyes took him in and protected him in return for working for the Collective. It wasn’t until the High Noon duel that Randy found out that Reyes was the Charlatan. That reveal didn’t change how he felt about him.

He is very claustrophobic. He uses it as his main excuse for not wearing helmets if he doesn’t need to. (Not the real reason, but he needs to trust you before he talks about it.)

😵 sickness headcanon

I feel like the first time Randy ever got sick, like really sick, was on Kadara. On the Citadel, I feel like sterility would be a big thing, though not quite as severe as the quarians. He had his common colds and little aches and pains, but nothing as severe as his first flu on Kadara. He acted like he was dying because he really thought he was. Of course, he knows that sickness is a thing, but it’s one thing experience than to know about them. 

💕 love headcanon

He struggles sometimes with hearing “I love you,” from people. Especially, the phrase, “If you’d love me, you’d...” because he’d heard that from people whose actions never reflected the sentiment. He’s heard that the harsh strict treatment from his father was out of love and the desire to make him a better man. He’s heard that from a lover with cold eyes and a colder smile, who would sacrifice him to prove loyalty to another. “Better I kill you than the others. It would be quick. You wouldn’t feel a thing.” So when someone first tells him they love him, he has to wonder what they plan to get out of him, because it wouldn’t be love. It takes a long time before the phrase means anything, but by then he would already know the million of other ways someone could show that they do love him.
