No one wants to talk about how RariSpike is a very gross ship. She’s an entire adult who has her own business and life and one of her closest friend’s adopted son/pet/assistant has a massive child crush on her.

IMO Rarity and Twilight should’ve nipped that shit in the bud. It’s one thing for kids to crush on adults, that’s normal and dare I say integral to their emotional development. But it’s an entirely different thing for said adults to feed those crushes. As the adult Rarity should not be giving Spike ANY reasons to believe he’s got a chance. He can be delusional all he wants but Rarity should not be feeding his crush.

And Twilight should’ve sat him down and explained that. If this were real I’d be very afraid of what would happen when Spike is old enough to be sexually active and bold enough to actually seek out Rarity.
