I finally met my Grandratties today! This small chonker is Heimerdinger. He's a full albino, pink eyes and all.

All of the pups are 15 days old today.

Plant photo shoot with the rittens while I free ranged them in the bath. They all chose to climb in the plant- you can really see how well adapted rats are for arboreal life.

Today the rittens were able to play in the dollhouse! In all of their previous bath time playtimes, I’ve had to keep the dollshouse on its side or they wouldn’t come out from underneath the other shelters in the bath. Today their confidence had a massive leap and they were happily climbing it and me.

Putting hand into a pile of rittens still going strong as a hobby. They are nearly 10 weeks old, so maybe pushing the definition of rittens, but they definitely still have a hunger that only hands can satisfy.
