Can I just say that I 💯LOVE my morning routine? Waking up around 5:30-6:00ish to spend alone time with my sweet handsome man then help to get him ready for work. Then I use this time for some alone time until one of the girls wake up. I have those days where it's hard to get out of bed some mornings, but if I don't then I lose the opportunity to have my alone time & in the words of this unknown person... "Remember to take care of yourself, you can't pour from an empty cup." As a mother this quote really hit me. I use to feel guilty about having time to myself, thinking that I should be using that time to spend with Ava. But it is so true, you really can not pour from an empty cup ☕️... the alone time I get in the mornings are so worth waking up early! How I use that time is different each day, but I focus on one thing that puts joy in my heart (sewing, knitting, exercising, reading, cleaning...etc) until the girls wake up. I notice our days are so much more peaceful & adventuresome when I have my morning alone time. Plus I notice that our smoothie bowls are way more legit! I want to take care of myself through a healthy diet as well!
