@weirdturned-pro asked for a SDS yesterday and I just remembered so here is my happy face after my first really good long run in a long time- 8 cool, not humid miles with negative splits the last half for a Sunday Runday success!
Running after a work this morning! This one’s for my co-worker Erin! 🙌🏼
It’s been too long since my last run. Working 6 nights a week takes some getting used to!
A very hot 2 miles. Didn’t even make it running all the way but I’m going to get back into a running routine if it kills me. No matter how ugly or unsuccessful it feels I’m gonna get back to it!! 🏃🏻 🥵
Last photo is a field back home that my dad sent me.
Another day. Another 2 mile run. This time it got a bit dark, thought I could beat the sun but I was wrong. No regrets!!! Here are just the before and after if my face in the run haha.
Made myself a quesadilla for dinner 🍽 😋
Why yes I did run 3 miles in a downpour this morning, and I loved every single second of it. 😍
My morning. 3 miles and lots of sun! 80° for once and not humid af! My last run before I start my time working nights 😴😳😰
Feat. A Canadian bacon egg, avocado and cheese sandwich I made for dinner last night. 😋 🤤
Sunday’s virtual 20k with my training partner and some of my running store buds that honestly almost killed me (So. Many. Hills.) it rained most of the time, but at least it wasn’t hot!
Today’s short run (5k) before a full day of staff inservice and online meetings. My brain is definitely not used to working all day any more. But this was a great, if also rainy, morning run, in super fun new shoes! I’m glad I dragged myself out the door for it.
After 9 hours of meetings, including leading a training on our new curriculum resources, I am not turning my laptop back on until tomorrow morning. My brain is basically mush. Extremely glad that we have three weeks of teacher prep before the kiddos come back this year instead of just one!
