Run run as fast as you can.
Last day at the lake. Recovery ~8 miles this morning, a visit to the scenic drive and overlooks, reading sam irby's hilarious work, and a gorgeous sunset. Good last day. Also, it's July!
Lots of running. Lots of sunshine. Followed by lots of ice cream. :D
Today I did yoga followed by some intense abs. Similar to the work out I did the other day. No run but I did work out so that's good. Maybe tomorrow will be the day. I do want to test out my new shoes.
First Week Of Marathon Training Finished ✔
Tonight was the long run of my week, but it was only five miles. Plus four of them was with a friend! I may not have had a fast pace tonight, but I did it!
Run streak day 243
SixTEEN miles in the books!
There was a possible 3 hour gap in rain and storms this morning so that’s when I planned to run.
I ate a PB sandwich and iced coffee while I waited for the rain the calm.
I felt great for at least the first 12 then my legs started to feel a bit heavy but I was ok. The last 2.5 or so was a struggle. They were mostly up hill and I was obviously TIRED.
The humidity is out of freaking control. It didn’t rain on my run but I could easily wring out all my clothes from sweat.
I ran through a few rivers that over took the trail which was kinda fun but left my feet looking 200 years old when I got home 👵🏼😭
I finished off July with possibly my highest month ever? I’ll have to check but it’s close! I’m super proud considering every single one of those runs was outrageously humid!!!!
