I'm bored, let's talk about Jean and Reader's son. 🙂↕️

(we all know Jean and Reader and end game, right, RIGHT???)
When reader gets pregnant, Jean is even more nervous for his second child because he KNOWS what kind of chaos kids can bring. Reader on the other hand is pretty chill about it.
When Reader and Jean tell Mason, he's ecstatic. Finally, a sibling!! And even more excited when they learn he'll have a brother. Except . . . how did the baby get in there? *cue Jean sweating*
The baby is way fussier than Mason was. He wants to be held all the time, always wants to play, etc. Reader jokes that their son must take after Jean in this way.
Just like with Mason, Jean teaches his younger son how to play basketball pretty early, but unlike Mason, he loves it! He becomes a sports fiend, *especially* contact sports, to the point where Reader and Jean have to have a few talks with him about being a little more careful.
This kid has at least one trip to the Emergency Room a year - broke his arm falling out of a tree, hit his head falling on the basketball court, slicing his finger open with a knife, etc.
Reader and Jean's son and Mason are so opposite that people are shocked to learn they're half-siblings, but they get along so well! Mason even tutors his younger brother in math when he struggles.
Reader and Jean's son has a special bond with Connie, his "fun uncle." Connie teaches him how to skateboard, and when he's older, how to properly smoke weed, and also how to cook because "that's how you get the ladies." (Mason on the other hand will never touch weed because he knows Mikasa would lock him in his room forever).

It is so clear that Jean is a gentleman in case I haven’t made it clear already like a relationship with him would be the most magical epitome ever, you being his first significant other. Sure he’d be a nervous wreck, but it’s so lovely dating him. He’d love doing all that cutesy stuff with you, people around you describe you two as the ‘ideal couple’.
He loves playing with your hair so much whether it’s where you letting him run his fingers through it as you two share a moment while in each others embrace (He’d so play with your hair as you kiss him); even when you rest your head in his lap in case you’re feeling fatigued and gently ruffles your hair (He strokes your hair if you’re asleep to not disturb you too much)
His favourite thing especially is braiding your hair he just finds it so relaxing for the both of you. It’s a skill he’s always had. He utilises it with all the women in his life like his mother, younger sister if he had one, even Sasha at one point. The amount of times he would’ve gotten told off at school for playing with Sasha’s hair as kids by teachers.
Jean always fantasised about braiding your hair too but he didn’t know how to bring it up to you, it seems too sudden and he didn’t really see you have your hair in that style very much. However, he was able to build up the courage to do so as you were getting ready to go out somewhere with him. The only reason he showed up while you were still getting ready was because he accidentally showed up way earlier than planned but this minor mistake all worked out in his favour and yours too in a way.
Jean, sitting on your bed, watches you grumble in the mirror while having your face buried in your palms. He walks up to you, placing his hand on your shoulder.
“Everything alright, []?”
You turn to him with a glum expression; your phone open on Pinterest, the search bar reading “hair inspo” and the images consisting of the most vile ‘wedding hair styles’ from 2014 with a mix of the most complex styles done with unattainably healthy hair. Even Jean, a man who has limited knowledge about how girls work understands how hideous some of those styles are, snickering at some of them as you mindlessly scroll through them.
“How do you feel about braids?”
“Braids? They’re cute, not really my go-to style but-“
“Let me- Sorry, did I cut you off?”
“No no, you’re fine. What were you going to say?”
“Oh, I was going to say you should let me do your hair.”
-“What?”
“Uhh..”
“Sorry, I sounded off-putting right there. I didn’t mean to. What do you mean by me letting you do my hair?”
“I wanna braid your hair. I MEAN! (That sounds too demanding….) Would you like me to braid your hair? It’s fine if you don’t wanna..it’s..ah cool…”
“You know how to braid hair?”
“Yes!”
- You laugh. “Go for it I suppose, you seem very eager to.”
“Merde! Did I really sound like that..?”
“…”
- “Your silence is doing better harm than good”
“Do you want to braid my hair or not?”
“Yes”
“Hah! There you go sounding eager again!” You burst out laughing, pointing your finger at Jean’s face turning into a light pink.
“[]!!!!”
Eventually you do stop messing around with him and he gets to work. Jean tries to be gentle as possible with you all the time no matter the circumstance. “Sorry, did I hurt you?” And i’d be the slightest tug that was a less careful that he intended it to be. He finds braiding hair to be relaxing for him as it sort of allows him to turn all his attention on 3 pieces of hair and how they are supposed to be crossed over repeatedly until he reaches the ends.
The feeling is mutual between the two of you; you found it to be really calming moment between the two of you, creating a new way for you two to bond together. After this, you find yourself getting your hair braided by Jean a lot more often.
Once he starts to get more skilled, he even starts to spazz up the way he braids your hair to. Like braiding in ribbons or adding smaller braids between sections. Your hair is one of his favourite things about you. Jean appears to be this stupidly cocky guy who enjoys messing around with Connie by tormenting Eren or Reiner and doing dumb teenage boy stuff; well thats what he paints himself to be. Who knew the same person also enjoys braiding hair?
[In the knights of favonius headquarters, morning – jean walking around while stretching herself, feeling a bit better now]
[Kaeya and amber took notice instantly seeing jean doesn't look like she pulled another all nighter last night]
Kaeya : My, it seems the acting grand master took some time off for some well rewarded sleep last night
Amber : Well that's certainly rare!
Jean : Uh–H-haha, well, Y/N... found out, I was staying up a bit late last night and, well, he insisted
Flashback
[Y/N who woke up from his sleep in his quarters in the knights of favonius headquarters, he was gonna go back to sleep but he thought might as well patrol around mondstadt for a couple of minutes for anything suspicious... Buut–
[When Y/N was about to leave the knights of favonius headquarters he sees lights still flashing bright Inside of Jean's office, for a split second he thinks why it was bright–Until he comes to a realisation–
M!Reader : ....
[Y/N opens the door slowly and sees jean still at her desk doing paper work, her eyes clearly tiring out]
[Y/N now fully opening the door]
M!Reader : I didn't know my acting grand master would be a liar
[Jean who was still focusing the paper on desk, stares in front of her after hearing Y/N's voice]
Jean : Oh! My dandelion, what are you doing up?
M!Reader : Sighs, jean you promised you'd take it down a notch...
Jean : Huh? What do you mean, I am, I'll go to sleep in a few minutes
M!Reader : ...Jean... My love... it’s four in the morning...
Jean’s pen slips right out of her fingers.
She blinks. Once. Twice.
Jean : …F-f-four…? No, that can’t be—I... I thought it was barely past midnight…
[Y/N crosses his arms, leaning against her doorframe, giving her that disappointed lover stare]
Jean : I-I’m sorry— but there were still reports to finish, and requests, and—
M!Reader : Okay that's it your coming with me.
Flashback ends
Jean : So I woke up on a couch in Y/N's quarters...
[In the afternoon of Mondstadt, the Acting Grand Master herself is in her office dealing with tower paperwork. Jean rubs her temples, letting out a sigh]
[She's just glad that she has a special someone who can catch Klee, the thought of always having to deal with paperwork and Klee is just excruciating]
Suddenly—
BANG!💥
[Y/N kicks the wooden door open to her office, making Jean drops her quill]
[Jean sees Y/N's grinning face in the doorway. Y/N stands there, looking cheerful that he finally catch Klee–who's tucked firmly under his arm like a sack of potatoes]
[Surprisingly? Klee isn't even mad, she's laughing and giggling that Y/N manages to catch her]
M!Reader : Mission accomplished! No fish were harmed this time!
[Klee waves her free hand around enthusiastically]
Klee : Y/N caught Klee before I could say Hello to master Diluc's pigeons! He's super fast!
[Jean's tense shoulders drop, a feeling of relief washes over her–Even a smile appears on her face]
Jean : Y/N, my dandelion, i appreciate you bringing Klee back, but please, next time, don't kick the door too loud..
M!Reader : Sorry, my love! I may be able to catch Klee, but wow–The things this little girl can do to avoid me is just... Something else...
Kaeya : On today's episode we have the great dandelion knight carrying her precious mate while his heavily sleeping
Amber : While carrying her mate the dandelion knight tries her hardest to carry him gently, trying her hardest not to awake him up which if it happens she can't cuddle him up in bed–
[Shows jean carrying an asleep Y/N Infront of them]
Jean blushing : I can hear you guys you know...
Kaeya : While she tries to change the subject her mate is actually waking up–
Jean : Wait what?!–.....
[Jean stares at Y/N which turns out still heavily asleep]
Amber : And with that panicked moment we all see that the dandelion knight truly loves her mate very much so
M!Reader : Jean... dear... Please, for the love of barbatos get some rest...
Jean : H-Hehe... I appreciate your concern for my well being sweetheart, but do not worry I'm doing perfectly fine–
M!Reader : You already had 5 coffees...
Jean : ......
[Jean chuckles nervously]
Jean : it's not that much–
M!Reader : You are holding a coffee in your hand right now that's already half drunk and I am literally holding another cup of coffee you requested me to get five minutes ago.... That's 7 coffees in total....
Jean : .....I think I need a nap–
M!Reader : come on you overworked machine, I'm bringing you to the bedroom I'm gonna carry you if I have to....
