Several minutes earlier

[Inside Jirou's dorm room. Jirou sitting on her bed, practicing her guitar. Meanwhile, Y/N is laying down on his stomach In front of her, both hands holding his head as the elbows are place down onto the mattress, while staring at her adoringly–Before he remembers the bet Sero and him made-

[Y/N sits up from his position, hand behind his head as he scratches]

M!Reader : Soooo... if Per se–two guys made a bet, and the reward for the guy who does what the other guy told him to do is him doing his laundry for a month–

[Jirou's already shift as she's already giving him the stare]

Jirou : it's not something illegal right...

M!Reader : —NO. NO. No! Nothing illegal, it just can be called... "Surprising"

Jirou : ...You are really making it easy to know you made a bet with someone in our class... I already have 3 guests...

M!Reader : The bet isn't even that bad, promise! It'll last literally a second!

Jirou : Hm...

[Jirou snaps her fingers at Y/N, smiling]

Jirou : What do I get out of it?

M!Reader : I'll buy you a pack of those energy drinks you like!

Jirou : ...W-Woah, you remembered?

M!Reader : "Grape frenzy" flavour!

[Jirou now smirks at him]

Jirou : Hmm... I don't know–

M!Reader : 2 packs!—

Jirou : —Okay deal

[Y/N clears his throat, before offering his hand out to Jirou]

M!Reader : Hand me one of your earjacks!

Jirou : ...Kinda already regretting this decision...

[Jirou stretches one of her earjacks and places it onto his palm. Y/N grabs a gentle hold on it and moves it near his face]

Jirou : Uhh–are you just gonna stare at it or–!!?!?!

Y/N quickly licks the tip of her earjack—

With the holiday fast approaching, Jiro takes a late night to create various confections for the students of Mortkranken. He wouldn't be able to participate in any large gatherings, so he decided to leave these out in the common area to show his appreciation for their hard work. It wasn't as if he'd be alone though. He had friends to visit in the coming days, opting for a more one-on-one approach where he could to avoid potential illness. Following tradition though, Christmas Eve was reserved for a partner. He would spend the evening (and late into the night) spoiling his partner in any way that he was able. On Christmas Day, he allows himself to rest - save from taking care of some necessary daily tasks in the office/lab. And if said partner didn't have any plans, Jiro would welcome their company.

[Y/N and Jirou walk exhaustedly through the hallways, heading toward their dorms, Their steps are slow, their muscles sore from training]

[Jirou and Y/N walking weakly, almost closing they're eyes, looking like they're about to collapse any minute–untiiil Y/N has a bright idea—

M!Reader : Hmm... Scoop–

[Y/N without hesitation, scoops jirou up in a bridal style, making jirou instantly flushed]

Jirou blushing : Wha—?! H-Hey! Put me down, idiot!

M!Reader : No... You look like you were about to collapse...

Jirou blushing : So were you!

M!Reader : Well sorry but I WON'T let my rockstar pass out on me—

Jirou blushing : And I can't have my idiot pass out on ME, Also it'd be worse if you passed out while carrying me!

M!Reader : Never... My determination to place you down onto your dorm is now my task...

iida : Excuse me Y/N! I hope that I am not intruding, but I require your permission to enter your dormitory, I will assure you that i am here to bring back the bowls you kindly gave me for the successful hotpot dinner we all had last night, may I enter!

Jirou : What!? Are you crazy!?–

[iida enters Y/N's room and immediately places the bowls on table next to the door]

iida : Thank you for your time! i–.....

[Shows Y/N sitting on the floor with a bunch of number cards on the floor while jirou is sitting on Y/N's bed holding her guitar]

iida : .......

iida : Ah, I see! I would like to deeply apologize for the interruption of you and jirou's romantic appointment, but I must remind you two that I am happy for the both of you but also have to remind you two that you both need to remember that you two still need to focus on your studies and duties as students as UA's students! Thank you for both of your time!

[iida immediately leaves the room and closes the door, jirou now with a disbelief expression with a blush now staring at Y/N]

Happy Birthday, Jiro.

You went to school with Kyoka Jiro before your UA days. Truthfully, you wouldn't be at UA if it weren't for her.

You were shy, whereas Kyoka wasn't. You were quiet, Kyoka was loud. You blushed like a tomato, she didn't.

You had a music quirk. You could amplify your voice just like your uncle Hizashi Yamada. It made family gatherings quite interesting and annoyed your uncle Shota Aizawa to high heaven.

But outside of the family, you rarely used your quirk. You were to shy to make a sound.

You were sat in the music room at your school. You often found yourself here. Too shy to make friends or talk, you opted to make music and lyrics. No one ever came in anyway.

This particular day Kyoka wanted to go to the music room. She wanted to practice her quirk. The UA entrance exams were coming up, and she wanted to strengthen her quirk.

As she approached the room, she heard singing and the sound of a guitar. It was beautiful, and she didn't dare come in. She didn't want to interrupt.

"Help, I've lost, myself, again. But I, remember, you."

Kyoka walked in the room clapping.

You blushed and quickly threw your books in a bag. Looking at the floor you answered.

"That was really beautiful. Did you write it?"

"Yes."

"I've seen you around, do you wanna hang out sometime?"

"Uh... I don't really... Like talking."

"That's fine, my mom says I talk too much, I can do all the talking if you want."

"Okay."

As you and Kyoka hung out, she brought you out of your shell. You found yourself talking a lot more. She even helped you deal with your bullies.

"If it isn't the little loudmouth, oh right, I forgot, you don't speak. You freak."

Your face flushes and you look down. You feel Kyoka grab your hand and you blush.

"Are you gonna let her talk to you like that?"

"No. Leave me alone [Bully Name]. Or I'll show you what a real quirk looks like."

Shocked that you actually talked back your bully shut up.

"Ya'know, I'm really happy you're coming out of your shell. I'll miss you once I'm off at UA."

You frown and look down. You'd really miss her once she was gone.

"Yeah, what'll I do without my best friend."

Kyoka stops walking and looks at you.

"Best friend? I thought we were a bit closer than that?"

Kyoka kisses your cheek and grins as you break out in a blush. You stutter a reply, flustered.

"I- uh, um, I- We are."

You sat at the table with your mom and uncles that night.

"SO, the UA entrance exams are coming up!"

"Zashi, quit pestering our niece. You know she doesn't want to go to UA. Besides, I get enough of her at home, let alone having a class with her."

"Actually... You think I could try out?"

"REALLY?"

"Yeah."

"YOU KNOW, I met Shota at UA. Who knows you might find someone like my Shota."

You blush as you move peas around on your plate. Maybe Kyoka Jiro could be your Shota Aizawa.
