Markus x Reader Headcanons

You two are an artsy couple.

On free days you two typically paint or draw together.

Or you let Markus paint you.

He loves drawing/painting you.

Mostly because he gets an exscuse to look at you for long amounts of time

He made a portrait of you called 'My Aphrodite'

His favorite times are when you wake up in the morning with the sun streaming through the window and for a moment it's just you and him in your own world and it is peaceful.

Whenever Markus goes to give you a kiss on the cheek he rests his hand on your waist

Your health is so important to him.

Sometimes if you stay up for too long or work yourself too hard and wont listen to him, he will pick you up and carry you to bed and force you to rest because dammit you need sleep.

When you guys sit on the couch together and watch tv, you typically have your fingers intertwined.

Markus will randomly bring your hand up and kiss it.

He loves kissing your hand.

Oof his laugh is heaven to you. It's just so beautiful.

He hugs you around your waist

Every kiss is filled with love.

You lay your head on his chest and sometimes he sings to you

You and Markus really are like a pintrest couple or something.

Always laughing or smiling

Markus can't stand not touching you for more than what's necessary. When you both finish work, he is immediately on you like white on snow.

Holding you or peppering your face and neck with kisses or just linking pinkies with you.

He never forgets an anniversary. Ever.

Markus will buy you flowers, or make you something, and then cook you your favorite dinner.

He always wants to know how your day went so he can adjust his conversation topics accordingly.

What a considerate boy.

Hes a middle spoon.

Like he'll wrap his arms around you and lay his head on your chest.

He also lays on top of you when he wants to be lazy and just nuzzles up to your stomach.

Markus will put on some old timey music and pull you with him to dance. You two will just sway and twirl for what seems like forever.

When you guys watch movies together, he has his arm over your headrest.

Speaking of Romeo, Markus LOVES going to the theatre.

His favorite are Shakespeare, but he will gladly watch something else.

Something about live theatre just speaks to him and he wants to share that with you.

Markus doesn't really get jealous.

He knows you're beautiful and isnt upset that other people see that.

He also knows that you love him and that his place is next to you, holding your hand.

Markus X Male!Reader- Angst

Prompt- "I won't let you"

Characters- Markus, Simon, Reader, unnamed androids, unnamed swat team member

Reader Pronouns- He/Him

Warnings- Gun wounds, Major character death, minor character death, blood

"Let me come with you." You pleaded, looking into your boyfriends heterochromic eyes. He stood with a poker face, looking at you.

"No. I don't want you to get hurt." He says, unmoving. You huff.

"Fine." But you would go with him, you'd sneak in. He leaves shortly after and you do aswell, saying you were heading home. You follow him and the dozens of androids behind. As soon as there are enough you blend into the crowd and follow behind him. There's a wall of officers blocking them from going any further. You square your shoulders and stand still. They begin threatening the parade and you let out a shaky breath.

"This is your last chance. Disperse immediately!" An officer yells, but no one moves. You gasp when you hear a gunshot. Then more. And more. You push through the androids to get a closer look at the front. There are androids dropping around you. And you see Markus is still standing. You sigh in relief until you feel a stabbing pain in your abdomen. You cry out and fall to the ground. Everyone stops and looks at you.

"Who was that?" Markus turns around and spots you, his eyes going wide. He pushes through the crowd and kneels next to you, sitting you up. "How'd you get here? I told you not to come." Silent tears start spilling and you smile.

"I was always quite rebellious. Get it? Cause I helped with this?" You say, coughing up some blood. He puts his hand over the bullet wound to try and stop the bleeding but it's coming heavily and there's nothing he can do. A hand is placed on his shoulder and he looks up, seeing Simon. Simon kneels next to you and his face goes blank for a few seconds. He looks sad and pushes your hair back.

"He's not going to make it but we'll give him a proper burial. We'll promise." Simon whispers to Markus, calmly.

"No," Markus yells, fading into a whisper. "Please no, don't leave, I can't have another person leave me. Please, please, please." Tears start rolling faster down his cheeks and he rests his forehead against your's.

"Markus, it's okay. But don't stop because of me. Keep going. If anything, keep going for me, alright?" You reassure him with a gentle squeeze to the arm. He pulls you close, kissing you as blood soaks his shirt. You smile and close your eyes before going limp, body pale. He pulls away, rage filling him. He picks up your corpse, carrying you to the front of the parade. His eyes are narrowed and his brows are close together. He looks at the guards in front of him, growling lowly.

"You were so overwhelmed with your absolute hatred for us and our race, that you killed one of your own. First you open fire on a peaceful protest, then you kill many in cold blood? We're done being oppressed and we will no longer be controlled. If you will not let us be free then at least give us the right to give my lover a proper burial." He stands, tears still staining his cheeks. A gun sounds and before he can process it he feels a hole in his forehead and feels thirium slip down his nose. He drops to his knees, dropping you and falls onto his side. Right before he shuts down he reaches for your hand and grips it tightly, fingers interlaced. He shuts down next to your cold body and he goes down as the first android to love a human.
