I think this is kind of a personal experience, and maybe not something every book lover goes through. I barely have any free time, but I dedicated my entire week, every one-hour break, my lunch time, even my sleep schedule to finish a book. And honestly, it started off so well. The plot was strong, engaging, really promising. Until the author completely ruined it. Threw everything good away and started filling it with disgusting, messed up fetishes, and yes, even criminal ones. Some scenes had this weird infantilization that honestly felt disturbing and sick. Sorry if this post comes off as bitter, but I’m just genuinely upset. My time is precious and I feel kind of stupid for wasting so much of it on something that, in the end, just left me frustrated. That’s it.
